I think we need to try something. Players who need to be gone next year from the secondary: d hall, j Wilson, reed, merriwether
Maybe bring up safety Gumbs from the practice squad. |

He's on the roster. No need to bring him up. |
Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread
its puzzling to me that we are at a point where we are starting David Amerson in games.
He got burned, alot last year. To me, he shouldve moved to safety in the NFL, he doesnt have the coverage skills at DB. Basically, the kid got a lot of tipped ball INTs etc 2 years ago, and rode that hype last year. Tennessee exposed him bigtime last year. |

Yes, they seem to be in a worse state right now. The difference between last season and this season is the offense. The defense is the same; they suck this year and last. |

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread
Why don't we run the offense we were so good at last season?
This is the second week we score in garbage time, after getting killed when it matters. I remember when Jason Campbell to a lesser extent would put up great numbers when our opponents defenses took it easy, and people said oh things will turn around. How'd that work out? This scoring late is fool's gold. We need to tune out the mediots saying for over a year that the read option was bad for us*, if necessary explain to Robert he's not as good as Rodgers and Brady passing short/med, but is better in the RO/PA spread offense game, and get back to how we won last season. *Of course, after running article after article and interview after interview for over a year saying the RO was bad, now BSPN and the other mediots are saying gee the Redskins don't look as good as they did last season. |
Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread
The reason we're playing Amerson is he is, whether you like it or not, one of our better CBs. DHall aint much better, nor is Josh Wilson.
Amerson will improve, he's a rookie and really raw and young right now. He needs to get beat to learn and improve. We're getting the same poor play out of Veterans, so why not have similar fails but with rookies. |
Dallas lost as well. So we're not totally out of it.
Sooo when the Giants lose, it will be like a "Pass"......free weekend! That's looking like our best strategy for now....... |

Today's game made me want to tazer the delicate, fibrous sack that contains and helps regulate the temperature of my testicles.

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread
Our secondary is really really bad in a passing league. Doughty Rambo hall Anderson Wilson would not start on any other team.
Literally our starting secondary is they worst in each of their respective positions. |

Great reference mate. At least something good came from this debacle of a game today. |
