Re: Food Vices
I had a great air fryer, all it did was air fry. Nice compact basket cooking area.
Then we got this expensive big "do everything" counter top oven thing and its great for bacon or little oven projects but the air fryer isnt the same. Did wings Sunday and they didnt have that same fry feel like my old smaller .. screwed up on my sauce as well ... --- Instant pot pressure cooker - thats a fun fucking cooking toy |
Re: Food Vices
If I'm ever rich and have a large kitchen, I want one of these large restaurant style griddles.

I've read those aren't as good as the basket style ones |

Lots of things are too good to be true. Air fryers live up to the hype (haven't tried making my own wings). Got one a few months back. Had to move some stuff around, but it was worth it. I even bake chicken breasts in the standard oven, then throw it in the air fryer to crisp the outside up for some texture. |

Appetizers and Ribs(not baby back)![/quote] Homemade pasta salad, deviled eggs, bagel bites, and chips & dip. Probably do some burgers during halftime. And I'm assuming heartburn and uncomfortable sleep. Go Chiefs!! |
Re: Food Vices

Re: Food Vices
Just ordered an air fryer for my new place. I'm going on a chicken and vegetable diet starting tomorrow.
Has anyone tried any veggies in it yet? |

Nice. Thanks! I assume it would be better for more crunchy vegetables like asparagus and green beans then it would be for something like spinach. I'll have to give it a shot this weekend. Supposed to get here Friday. |
