Watched Angels and Demons Saturday night. I wasn't as impressed as my wife was. I liked The Da Vinci Code much much better. Its like 2 1/2 hours which is way to long IMO. I really liked the first one and was really looking forward to this one too. It didn't meet my expectations.

The ticket booth actually gave me the wrong tix at first. She gave me Star Trek. I guess I should have just went in there.

This thread needed a bumping.

I may be in the minority but I thought the movie Hangover was not all that great.

40 year old virgin, superbad, old school and office space top that for me. Even super troopers to tell ya the truth. Speaking of Office Space, Mike Judge is coming out with a new movie, should be good stuff..

Drag Me to Hell is actually very good as well, it is funny and scary. If you like the Evil Dead and Bruce Campbell it is pretty good.

Yeah, I liked it... totally Evil Dead light.

Just saw a screener of this flick called "Dead Snow"- it's about Nazi Zombies in the snow!

Didn't search this thread thouroughly, but did anyone see The Wrestler. Good movie and great job by Mickie Rourke. I actually believed he was a aging wrestler but that's not my reason for posting.

I have a new member to my top 10...Marissa Tomei. She's got to be pushing 40 and smokin. Smokin in this movie.

I went to the book store the other day and there like 100 new books about zombies. I bought one called Patient Zero - looks like it's sort of a cross between 24 and Night of the Living Dead but I haven't started it yet.

I took my three-year-old and five-year-old to see "Up" last night.

I had no preconceived notions about the movie and really enjoyed it, as did both kids.

Pixar's ability to consistently produce outstanding movies is impressive.

I agree with you. It was funny, It just was not as funny as everyone was saying it was.

I personally liked "I Love you Man", a ton. I thought it was more down to earth comedy. Like kind of the average man's comedy/awkwardness. I don't know it just was easier for me to relate to it.

Tell me how the book is... I'll cop it from Amazon if it's worthy.

I just got done watching benjamin button. It was a really good movie all around with some of the best make up and special effects I've seen in a movie especially with Brad Pitt during his early aka old years.

It's tough to make a good comedy. I'd say it's the best since Superbad. I liked the awkward style of comedy that they frequently use. I think different people grow up on different styles of comedy, like old comedies are not funny to me at all. I think I'm opposite in that I didn't really like 40-year old virgin or Super Troopers and Old School wasn't that good for me. I feel like those could be grouped in the same style of comedy that doesn't really work as well for me.

I got ya. It it is weird because I know those movies are a different style because they "feel" different but I cannot put it into words.

In other movies, I have IMAX tickets to Transformers 2 tonight. Hopefully it will not disappoint.

I guess that is why I liked all those other movies more. Hangover was really really out there. funny for sure, but it didn't suit my fancy; maybe I just couldn't relate to it.

Looking forward to your post on it. Really want to know if it's worth going. The first was outstanding, I hope this one follows suit.
