Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
^^ Huh? We would? You know that trade negotiations were on-going how? "Obviously"?Just 'cause you may made that trade doesn't mean it was something anyone in the FO would have considered.
Not saying there is a likely trade, just that cutting Jackson has absolutely no bearing on it. None. Zippo. Not even a tiny pea in a nice big pot's chance. |

You'd think a lawyer would be a good sarcasm detector.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
DQJ would be nice.

If it is sarcasm if there's any doubt people might get the joke you should generally include a sarcasm tag. On this board so much wtf stuff gets said everyday that it can be hard to tell when someone's joking. |
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
I know we are a 3-4-4 but for some reason I have a feeling we will be playing a bit of 2-5-4 just my opinion.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
I'd rather commit to Riley at 25 than Jackson at 30.
Why does it have to be a choice? Last I checked we could use another inside backer. |

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
It would look nice ILB's - Riley, Robinson (if he can stay healthy), Jackson & Yawin Smallwood (I know he has to be drafted). What do you think?

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
I want Perry Riley as target A and then draft Skov but if Riley demands too much we could go with DQJ and Spikes in the middle.
|
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Jackson should cost a lot less than Riley, and probably sign a 2 or 3 year contract. I do not want Riley back at any price, draft someone, or sign a free agent.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
O-Line---Michael Oher/Alex Mack/Wade Smith ?
|
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
I don't understand why some are so willing to let Riley walk. Yeah the price has to be right, but here is a solid guy, who we drafted, has done everything asked, and been at the least solid.
He, to me, is the very definition "keeping our own". |

You know what? You are refutable. Riley is a good player and he's getting better. I wouldn't mind picking up Jackson, though. |
