We took Mark Wilson, a OT from California

Gmanc711 04-25-2004 02:29 PM

I'm still kinda dissapointed we didnt grab a DT or DE. Oh well, what # is our next pick?

skins009 04-25-2004 02:30 PM

What the hell???????????????????
Nick Leckey was on the board. He's a damn good center.

Dave Butz Baby! 04-25-2004 02:30 PM

Our sixth rounder is number 180.

skins009 04-25-2004 02:31 PM

They must be thinking about getting rid of Samuels, bacuae Bugel was raving about how they have great depth at o-line during mini-camp.

Cush 04-25-2004 02:31 PM

Bah, was hoping they would go DL

Hail to the Redskins 04-25-2004 02:33 PM

Kinda funny that this Wilson guy looks eerily similar to Gallery... the size, the hair, etc... too bad he doesn't have the talent...

But hey... he was a 4-year starter and a frosh all-american... someone to push Samuels?? Make him understand he NEED to renegotiate? ....why not?

Hail to the Redskins 04-25-2004 02:36 PM

wow... suprising move the Chargers taking Michael Turner... this guy has some serious potential.. there were even a couple of scouting reports comparing him to Bo Jackson! Tomlinson needed a backup I guess... too bad for the kid he isn't going somewhere he'd get a shot...

Spearhead 04-25-2004 02:41 PM

was hoping for DL help too with #151 but I'm not sure this means we're getting rid of Samuels or anybody else
Wilson's not too big and looks like the kind of Olineman that will move to Guard in the nfl

SKINSnCANES 04-25-2004 03:09 PM

I tell you what guys, it looks like we actually did some scouting this year. Im impressed with out three picks. The first was easy, but the second two actually look like they have potential to develope and shine in the system.

Not big? he's 6'7" 315lbs with a lot of room for growth, he's a good pass blocker but has weakness at run blocking, this kid is defiently a tackle, 1 site that I read say's he could be a super steal, and he was moving up draft board's close to the draft, he's a converted TE, need's work but that's why you draft a guy who doesn't have to start right away, so he can work and grow, he has good feet, sound's like a good aquisition in the long run.

Skins almost up again

Sounds like Samuels. Samuels was a converted TE. Samuels is not the greatest run blocker either.

And the Skins take....

Jim Molinaro, T, Notre Dame
