Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Idk Dallas may have the same record but lost two close games to two very good teams. They are a ten win team no doubt. We are going to be lucky to win 5. I don’t think we have a chance in hell to win it....
The same Dallas team that is a "superbowl contender" every year? Ok. I'll let you and all the talking heads out there ride that bandwagon...again... Fact is, they are lucky to not be 0-3. BUT, you can't beat anyone giving up 24 points off of turnovers. If that isn't cleaned up the WFT has no chance. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I don't like this tapping out crap either. I really don't get what Ron is thinking.
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I dont care what the numbers say, our D gave up 34 points to the freakin Browns. By comparison Baltimore (a real D) held them to 6, and Cincy gave up the same. Is anyone else concerned that our problem lies on both sides of the ball?
24 of those points came off of turnovers. Clean that up and it's a different story. |

Yeah, that doesn't sit well with me. I don't get it all. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Guys Ron is tanking, it's so obvious. Listen to his press conferences.. He's always talking about "Well we have to get better overall and continue to grow" That is telling us all "Get over it, we will lose a lot"

He's basically telling the team I have no confidence in you and we're only going to get blown out worse if we keep trying. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
The giving up seems so at odds with how they hung in there in week one. I don’t get it. At all.

We have the Ravens and Rams. Dallas is about to run away with the division so let’s not kid ourselves. The Eagles and Giants are really bad and we are at best a notch above it. QB play is hurting us - plain and simple. We have other weaknesses too, but no team can overcome poor play at the most important position. And unless he has some surprising (to me at least) turnaround where he shows good mechanics, doesn’t overthrow open receivers with some frequency, and doesn’t broadcast his throws, our fortunes will not improve. His INTs were awful - clean pocket, not tipped at the line or bobbled by receivers - they were just terrible throws. I know he has great arm strength and see the flashes of great throws too, but the negatives are large and hard to overlook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Landon Collins is terrible. What a waste of money.
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Dallas should be 0-3 for sure but they are 10 times better than us.. We'd be 0-3 also if it wasn't for the horrible Eagles.
Boys will win the East at 10-6 |

Never did I say winning the superbowl. They have 1 win. They will have 6 more against the East. I dont think im singing their praises or going out on a limb saying they are a ten win team. |

Maybe. But when we did that against the Eagles it was hey a score is a score... |

Most receptions gaining 10+ yards through W3:
1. DeAndre Hopkins - 18 2. Calvin Ridley - 17 3. Terry McLaurin - 13 |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For sure lol Speaking of DH "Rivera did say he felt Haskins stared down the target on two picks. When re-watching the plays, can see him looking down the middle 1st. But the issue was getting to the target too fast. Slow it down. That's a correctable issue." Keim |

He is flat out terrible, this is NO hyperbole. At his best he is JAG, average safety. Garbage signing. Just trash signing |

I think he's at least average and he makes a standout play every once in a while. But we're paying him Polamalu/Reed money. I wouldn't have a problem with him if his deal was more team friendly. |

We made him the highest paid safety in the league at the time of signing. He’s been a bust |

I wanted Mathieu when that happened. Still upset about it |

Yeah I really wonder how the locker room feels about it. So Ioannidis got injured for nothing if we were not trying to win this game ? |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I think Meks just meant that cancer and coaching are unrelated....like just because he is sick doesn’t mean you give him a pass. If he is healthy enough to be there than he is healthy enough to call a timeout. I hope that is what he meant. If it is than I totally agree. Anyway The way it came across sounded more cold hearted than I think he meant it....
Yes sorry if I offended anyone I did mean that and shit my old man passed away from cancer I didn't mean anything ill by it sorry guys. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread

I didn't say that. The defense clearly won that game by putting the offense in position to score. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Collins - yes he looked bad today and is primarily a box safety but he is they only secondary player on our team who would start somewhere else. I didn’t like the signing and wanted a Matthieu vs him bc I think finding box safeties is a lot easier than coverage safeties but on paper, he is our only above average player in the secondary.
The missed tackles today, especially on that TD run, stand out. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
We play the Ravens and then the Rams next. 1-4 here we come. Will be interesting to see how high we stand on the draft board after the next 2 weeks.
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Also, I really really don't want to play on Thanksgiving this year. My favorite holiday.
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Chase young was dealing with a groin injury in TC too.
Matty I with an “arm” injury. If it’s like a bicep tear, that would suck |

Didn’t mean you just in general. Anyway out D is lacking up the middle and really all over the secondary but it is not the main issue. Not even close. |

Yeah, too bad we won't be having our usual home crowd to cheer them on though... effin covid, that would have made a huge difference for sure ! :D |

Yeah, he's done. No point in him playing later in the year when we're 3-9 anyways, even if he could possibly come back. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Tough loss but no surprise with the injuries this team always has

Quake good call forgot about Fuller.

You know, we could still win this division. Fuck the cowboys
