You mean the Bruce Allen, Jay Gruden years? New regime. Time to give them a chance, before pissing all over their efforts. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Wow there goes Cooley’s guy he raved about...Charlie Wormer. And guess who got him...Kyle shanny, the guy who knows TE

I’m with you on AGG .. He can play and liberty played a tough schedule in there first year at the highest ncaa level... I am in board with this draft ! |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Ismael was a great pick. We needed to add a guy with C/G versatility.
He could win the LG spot possibly. Or start at C and move Chase to LG. If not, he'll be a great swing position backup. Do not like the other 5th round choice. He most likely would have been available in the 7th. Not gonna love every pick tho. He's versatile at least and is a great special teams player. Maybe he was mainly drafted for his ST prowess. |
Golden did his thing against the Appalachian States of the world. I seriously doubt if that translates to making those plays against the athletes he will confront in the NFL. From my perspective, both of the "play makers" we drafted are used to playing against boys not men. I am having serious doubts about this draft. Yeah, I know Gary Clarke went to a small school. But the difference in the level of play in the "power conferences" versus the "also rans" is much greater nowadays.
Everybody knows there's a clear correlation between small schools and shitty NFL players, name me a single player ever in history that ever came from a small school that ever did anything of note ever, even one time, in all 100 years of the NFL! Thank you!!!!! |

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Free agents to target: Trey Adams, Hunter Bryant, Thad Moss, Alex Taylor, Lavert Hill, Jared Pinkney
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
I can not believe Thad Moss went undrafted. Obviously our front office didn't think highly of this years TE class.
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Well, I listed Gary Clarke in my post. But if necessary, add Alfred Morris.

Agree, Mooby. I don't understand those sort of posts Ohoskins posted. Such posts are so easily to dissect and also gives you an idea that the poster doesn't have a clue. |

It's really not that Golden went to smaller school. Plenty of great players come from small schools. My issue with the Golden pick was that we already have that exact same guy in Harmon. IDK, we'll see but I just saw no reason to draft that type of player when you could have got a TE. Big, slower, red zone type of wr's to me are a dime a dozen aka Docston, Robert Davis, Cam Sims... |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Per @AdamSchefter
LSU TE Thaddeus Moss, Randy Moss’ son and an undrafted free agent, plans to sign with the Washington Redskins, per source. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Thad Moss to us via Schefter

When did Harmon become that good? He had a decent rookie season but he isn't anything special yet. Also Gandy and Harmon are about the same speed and Harmon was a 6th rounder vs AGG being a 4th rounder. |

They are both going to be really good, I like our WR’s McLaurin Sims Harmon AGG Gibson The others will probably be released and off to the PS. |

Jerry Rice went to Mississippi Valley State University, a whopping 2,228 students. Is widely regarded as the greatest wide receiver in NFL history, and one of the greatest players in NFL history. Rice is the career leader in most major statistical categories for wide receivers,[6] including receptions, touchdown receptions, and receiving yards, once being the leader for total yards and touchdowns in a season. He has scored more points than any other non-kicker in NFL history with 1,256.[7] Rice was selected to the Pro Bowl 13 times (1986–1996, 1998, 2002) and named All-Pro 12 times in his 20 NFL seasons. He won three Super Bowls with the 49ers and an AFC Championship with the Oakland Raiders. As of 2017, Rice holds over 100 NFL records, the most of any player by a wide margin. In 1999, The Sporting News listed Rice second behind Jim Brown on its list of "Football's 100 Greatest Players" |

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
AGG and Gibson look like they play on fire. The Redskins haven’t really been set at WR since Art Monk retired. Stock the pantry. McLaurin and at least one of the next 3 on the depth chart could be solid for a long time.

You gotta buy NFL Game Pass first. But then it should come right up. |

Moss is fat and slow. UFA is where he belomged. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
You don't need gamepass to read the article. But the NFL.com links have a built in bug of some sort. Half the time it takes you to the actual article and half the time you get the gamepass link.
But there is no way they don't know about it. So only 2 things it could be; 1; they're too incompetent to fix it or 2; they like the feature and the bug is a benefit to them. NFL is a multi billion dollar business, so it's not incompetence. I actually think NFL.com is a very user friendly site when you're using it by yourself. But it turns to shit if you try to share anything. |

OK. But it's accurate. He's too small to play tight end too. Someone asked why he wasn't drafted. Those are the reasons. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Since when is 6'3 250 too small for TE?
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
I like Moss, he’s got some great hands. Just hope that foot heals and doesn’t affect his game
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
I don't care how we got Moss. He's here now and I wish him well. Perhaps he can carve out a role if he wants it enough.
