You're probably right, but it's only 11:30 here. I'm a little tipsy right now too. Makes Family guy twice as funny. I have the rest of this week to rest before starting the new job. |

Congrats man...10 years is actually quite a feat now-a-days. |
Re: The talk about anything cuz your up real late and tired of draft talk thread.
Ok, I didn't get much of a honeymoon because my wife and I were both active duty. The night of our wedding we stayed at the Sheraton in D.C.. Three of my buddies from my duty station came up with me for the wedding, and were staying at the Holiday INN off of Wisconsin AVE NE. That same night one of them had a seizure. Needless to say my honeymoon was interrupted by a trip to Bethesda Naval Medical Center.
Was stationed in Germany and promissed my wife a second honeymoon in Italy. Time because of the war did not permit it. So for our tenth anniversary we are flying to Italy just to make her happy. Next year we are going to Cancun!
Wisconsin Avenue in NE? I didn't know it went to NE |

Ah, the vacation between jobs. I remember it well. Enjoy. Of course anything over two weeks is too long. |

It will be exactly 2 weeks. I've worked every day of my life since I was 15 minus actual paid vacations...I needed this time off. I've been relaxing like a very lazy bum. Just play with my 2 basset hounds, occasionally take a dip in the hot tub, hang out with friends (something I didn't do a lot of considering I worked a minimum of 70 hours a week...usually worked 75+ hours a week), and I've been catching up on all the family guy and south park episodes I have missed. haha. Take my advice...no job is worth taking all your time away. You need to balance home life with work life. My new job will be a max of 45 hours a week. I can't wait. |

Well, I have been working 50 hour weeks for the last 2 weeks. we were undermanned. I will be back to the normal 40 next week. Which is great because I can hear the Gym calling out my love handles. |

So imagine adding another 25 hours to that 50 hour work week and that was what I did for 2 years. I've come to grips with my love handles...haha. |

I just started getting rid of my love handles again, but I stopped going to the gym because of of the longer days. I don't want them back. Even though my wife comes to grips with mine every day. |

Actually I can gain and lose weight pretty much at will. But it does take a little longer to lose it, and its easier just to keep it off. |

Alright here's the play the QB fakes to the left. No he fakes to the right. No he doesn't fake, he fakes about faking; he pretends to fake. I don't know where I am, I'm feeling faint.

I thought the same thing at first because all I know about him is his 80's music. Pretty much anyone could be a pop star during that time if they had a keyboard and knew 3 chords on a guitar. |

I guessed the ending to one of those types of movies based solely on the previews a few months ago.
I also get overly annoyed when there is a glitch in a movie, especially if it's one made by a good director. I've been known to point out things like new Coke cans in the background of a scene that supposed to take place in the 80's (Blow), and a guy videotaping aliens even though they supposedly destroyed all electronics (War of the Worlds). I can be a pain to watch movies with. |

How can a multi million dollar operation not get those small details, especially considering the huge amount of people working on a particular film. |

That's why I said "Intelligent". Some directors just throw in tricks just to throw you off, they don't give ANY clues in the earlier part of the movie. I like movies that either make me laugh, or make me think. BTW- I leaned over to my wife and said, "he has a twin". She laughed and then said, you know what, I think you're right. |
