With a dead owner and playing in NY...of course the giants was gonna win. No team in the NFL has played as bad as the skins today. And everyone knows the skins are better than this. Hell a high school team would have played better. BUT if the suits in the NFL office tells you to blow a game I guess ya better comply.
yea that's the ticket, yea.........

I think our team thought we'd roll the giants. They had something to play for, we brought nothing when this game shoulda been of the highest intensity! Honestly I thought we'd roll the gmen. But I do think we were all overconfident going into that game and produced nothing. It seemed by the kickoff we'd lost the game. Our Redskins either did too much partying for Halloween in NYC or badjuju of gmen past haunted the shiznizzle outta us. No excuse.
Seriously? How could we NOT get up for this game? This was the biggest game our franchise has played in a good 5 years, and they came out and played like it was like a high school scrimmage. We are playing for our lives next week. If we fall to 4-4, were in trouble.
I agree. That's what bugs me most. This was probably our biggest game since the '99 TB playoff game and we come out with THAT? Extremely disappointing.
Me too, the Giants won't have to kick 5 FG's, they'll score all TD's, the Manning pick will land in Buress's hands and Feeley won't miss that FG, making the score 66-0!!!!!!! :food-smil
well, your obviously a dumbass.

Let me write this without using a lot of vulgarities because it won't change how I feel about this humiliation before 70,000 people. I read today in the New Jersey's Starledger that Antonio Pierce gave the Giants offensive staff the Redskins defensive packages and what they are more likely to do in every situation based on their formation. Now I know it's not illegal to share what he knows, but what was going through Greg Williams' mind when he saw Barber run in the opposite direction on the first play of the game?

It sure as hell wasn't boy Antonio must have given our plays up to these bums. How can a defense ranked next to last in the league stop the run, stop the pass and sack the QB at will? When you have a motherfucker on the other side of the ball that not only played on defense, but translated the plays to his teamates from his armband which he was given credit for by us as being an intelligent player. If Arrington is let go and goes to Dallas, Philly or the Giants our defense as we know it is finished. I'm willing to bet that Pierce made a couple of duplicates of our plays and distributed them to his fellow coaches like crack at a Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston party. No good Bastard!

Sunra, i think your giving way to much credit to antonio peirce, he's not the first guy in the history of the nfl to change teams you know. did he help his team some? yea but not to the extent that you suggest.

how did the 49ers beat the bucs yesterday? do the 49ers have the bucs middle linebacker from a year ago?

Thats pretty funny if you dont break it up into two seperate statements.

I have had a couple of people say that to me that they thought this game was fixed, but Id couldn't be. It would've been way too obvious. If we were trying to blow that game we did a horrible job because it was wayy tooo blatant.

I think you underestimated the loss of Antonio Pierce like the Redskin coaching staff did. Pierce was the key player in the defense last year. He related the plays to the defense and was given a lot of credit for his knowlege of the game. If Pierce's input was not essential then why did Barber mention it after the game?

Tell me how the 31st ranked defense all of a sudden plays a perfect shutout against a 2# offense unless they have an ingenius grasp of that teams playcalling?

Pierce went to an rival team in our division and stated in an article on Friday that he wanted to hurt the organization because he felt disrespected after a deal could not be agreed upon. So the Giants was a great way to accomplish that task. Pierce is not the first player in the NFL to play in the same division, however he was one of the most important components to the success of the defense. Remember he had 160 tackles last year.

i don't underestimate the loss of pierce i just think you OVERESTIMATE it. sure he new some things about how to attack our defense and he might have even known a few plays that the offense liked to run out of certain formations and such but i credit AP with only about 5% of the giants victory. the skins lacked effort, intensity, desire, passion, the will to win. the skins could not match the giants passion, the giants were not going to play bad after the passing of their beloved owner. the giants came out swinging and the skins did not punch back, AP had nothing to do with any of that.

don't get cought up too much in the numbers game regarding the rankings of their defense versus our offense or vicaversa, numbers mean absolutly nothing when one teams plays with fire and the other team plays effortless.

Re: Had to be fixed

gibbs has said the one mistake he really regrets is not paying pierce when he had the chance. I think he helped more than 5%, but the loss isn't totally because of him by any means. GW new pierce was over there, and gibbs had an entire week to prepare. Everyone and their brother did their part in this one.
