Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
Hall now makes 2.25 mil, Carriker, Wilson, and Moss took pay cuts, and Morgan is between 5-6 mil for this year and a UFA at the end of the year (with some dead money for next year). Orakpo is a FA at the end of the year, so to trade him, it has to be now or we need to franchise him then try to trade him next year.
And you honestly want to get rid of our best O-lineman that we have with the existing concerns that we already have with the O-line. And not having a legit LT to step up behind him. Really?
I thought some of the numbers might be off, should've checked the Cap Sheet date. Point is, if this season doesn't take a quick upswing...it's time for major changes. TW is greatly overrated. |

A Lions fan came on here and said the same thing, basically that on paper they should probably win but won't. I just hope the team comes out and shows some heart. |

Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
If Bush and Fairely are 100% and our OC pulls his head out of his ass:
Lions 38 Redskins 20 If either of them, and especially Bush, is either gimpy or doesn't play and the coaching staff learned nothing from their awful play calling in Arizona: Redskins 24 Lions 14 I fear the former. And here's this little intangible to make you guys feel better: Detroit has never won a single away game against Washington. As in NEVER EVER. So I don't feel so good about this one. The Redskins will be fine, btw, once Griffin gets the rust out I think. |
Williams isn't even close. Jason peters is the best LT in the NFC even coming off that gruesome injury last season. Okung is also better when healthy. Idk about others. Saints always have a solid LT.
Williams is the best olineman on the roster tho. Can't trade him.
LOL. The Redskins Blog | PFF: Trent Williams Among Best In NFL All this TW hate is amusing. |
Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
There's nothing wrong with Honolulu. He's been very fair in his assessment of the upcoming game. It's not often fans of other teams wander in and either 1) aren't total homers or 2) aren't trolls.
I value his opinion. :D |
Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
0-2 sure F's with people's minds.
Can't believe Trent is being tossed under the bus. Unreal. |
Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
I can't figure out where someone said it, but they think the brace is slowing down RG3 and wanted to see him without it (or something to that effect)...

It has Trent Listed as 3rd or 4th best overall in 2012, depending on the metric I guess. And Jason Peters didn't play in 2012. So, I absolutely, without a doubt stand by what I said. After Peters, a healthy Okung and maybe Saints LT I'd put Williams right in there. |
Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
Unless I've missed others, just one person has thrown Trent under the bus in a rant today. Don't think anyone else disputes he's our franchise LT. Anywho

Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
Trouble with Okung is he can't stay healthy and he's hurt again right now.
I'd take Trent over him regardless. |
Re: Washington Redskins vs Detroit Lions Pregame Thread
Did anyone notice Clay Matthews on Sunday?
I didn't because Trent Williams took him out of the game. He is one of the best left tackles in the NFL. |
