Cooley is a 30 or near 30 year old TE coming off a knee injury. No one is trading for him. I think he'll be back. We need him. |

Cooley's run blocking really impressed me on the coaching tape from last year. I don't think he's anything close to a top receiving TE, but with our third down struggles, another receiving TE is never a bad thing.
I would make a push to sign Jermichael Finley, while keeping Fred Davis, while keeping Chris Cooley. I think those three guys would give us a great schematic advantage over our opponents. To me, Cooley might actually be a better blocker at this point than Logan Paulsen. |
