If we come out flat against the Rams this wknd it's hard to imagine this group i.e. Shanny/Haslett/current roster achieving any real success. Any solid team will respond w/ killer instinct after a lousy (hopefully outlier) performance.

...I really want to believe we can dominate every aspect of the game against a team like St. Louis.

The Rams are a better team than their 0-3 record, it will be a very tough match up. The skins will prevail. Keep your eyes open for Bradford to pick on "big mouth".

Denario Alexander or Brandon Gibson for a TD. Chris Long for a sack/fumble. SJax manages to torch us despite his quad.

It could happen.

Hopefully your wish will come true and we lose, that will give you the satisfaction of being right, no?

I'm sorry but the Rams are a bad team right now, we better kick the snot outta them.

Sure whatever you say mr. apologist.

The Rams are better than their record and performances have shown. That said, their secondary players, especially their safeties, really struggle. Rex needs to have a big day on Sunday.

I'm not an apologist, just sick of people who are obsessed on one player.

But like I said, maybe you'll get your wish and we can have yet another Hall thread extravaganza.

The rams have a very good QB but nothing else on offense and their secondary is toast

A healthy Rams squad would be a lot of trouble for us. I think this game will be a test on whether or not we play down to the level of inferior teams.

If we can't get our running game going, we're going to be in a lot of trouble.

Should we win this game? Ya
Will this game be easy? No
Will we dominate them in every aspect of the game? probably not

Btw, If you all want a positive out of last nights game, its that we received good grades on most sport analysts write ups. And we some how moved up in some power polls or stayed the same in other power polls. People believe in us.

If his wish comes true we win. He said, "The skins will prevail."

Are you reading the posts or just nitpicking for things to bitch about?

A little bit of both.

You don't think another week will give Stephen Jackson more time to get healthy and rejuvenated? It's suprising the lack of respect we're giving to the Rams right now. We haven't exactly gone out and taken them to the shed recently. They've won their fair share against us, with teams that would rank just as shitty as their current team, and it's definitely not a given with this current team.

Don't get me wrong, I hope we come out and wipe the floor with them. I hope their effort is futile by the end of the first quarter, just like it was against Baltimore. But rarely do you see teams get blown out in two consecutive weeks. In fact, look at how many teams we've blown out in recent years against opponents we were supposed to blow out.

We didn't blow out anybody in 2010.
The Raiders in 2009 (Rak's 4 sack game) 34-13 I believe. The lone blowout from the Jim Zorn Era.
Detroit, 2007, 34-3
Cowboys, 2007, 27-6 (final win in our playoff run)
49ers, 2005, 52-17
Rams, 2005, 24-9 (first win of our playoff run)
Cowboys, 2005, 35-7 (3rd win of our playoff run)

I could include the last two against the Giants and Eagles from that 2005 playoff run, but I don't feel they were real "blowout, no hope whatsoever by halftime" kinda wins. My point is that most of our blowout wins over the years have been from two teams that made the playoffs, and while I like this team, it hasn't shown the ability to put everything together in all phases to blow out one opponent in one game. I hope they do, don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of the Redskins dominating opponents that deserve to be dominated, but it hasn't happened much over the years. And while I like our chances on defense against their offense, our offense hasn't really put it together in all phases of the game so far this year.

I feel like we will dominate the Rams in every aspect of the game, but win 13-10
