Re: Washington Wizards 2011-2012 Ongoing Thread
My cabbie this morning was saying Cleavland should take Williams, since he is a taller talent and there will be a bunch of Gs at 4 for Cleavland's 2nd pick. He was also suggesting that Irving may be available at 4 because Twolves and Jazz wouldnt draft a G. Not sure about that but interesting thought.

It seems the Cavs will take Irving, and I'm all about taking a PG high. But is Irving that great that they can't take a chance on him being there at #4? And...Cleavland? Really Hoo? |
Would you take Vesely or Valanciunas...or Val Kilmer
Please let Vesley fall to us. Even if that shot doesn't develop he'll still end up as one of the better defenders in the league. He'll be a Jokim Noah for us and thats invaluable. I just think he brings more to the table then Valancunas. |

Bu they're also still talking with Minnesota and Utah about a 3 team deal that would get them Kanter at 3

I'll take Val Kilmer circa Real Genius, ftw! And I'd def. take Valanciunas over Vesely. But I think the Cavs are grabbing him at 4. They're also going to use their trade exception to get an extra lottery pick somewhere... which team wants to unload salary? |

Atlanta dangling J-Smith to Minny... to grab Kanter at 2?

Re: Washington Wizards 2011-2012 Ongoing Thread
Vesely's the favorite. I still think Leonard is a possibility though if they stay at 6

Re: Washington Wizards 2011-2012 Ongoing Thread
With an intro like that I think it's safe to say he's destined for greatness.
Im generally scared to death any foreign player. The game is very different over there. Too me Vesely is a horrible pick at 6th, then again I really dont see a "safe" pick at 6th, everyone has a question mark. Our second pick in the first I would easily stand behind Chris Singleton outta FSU, defensive standout.
I'm glad I was wrong and that he fell to us. Singleton at 18 eases my Vesely pain... |
