Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
Most people who claim to be independent just wait around to see what the flavor of the month is and goes with that. LOL I would not call what people have said about Saden as thrashing the guy.
Thrashing was a strong word. Hmm. I can't think of a better one right now, but if I do during class, I'll edit my post. And that's not necessarily true about the flavor. Lots of indepdents are thinking McCain even though he's not exactly the flavor of the month. Cause I mean come on.. He'd be like.. Quaker Oatmeal flavored or something. :vomit: |
Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
Saden no offense, but you are extreme in that you just start random threads for no apparent reason and just post strings of pointless youtube videos. That is extreme IMO because it is unneeded, and takes away from the quality of your other posts.
Plus you don't always justify yourself(you did in this thread) so you sound as bad, if not worst, than your conservative counterparts. I've already called out other conservative people, but as SS said your posts use to be some of the best on this site. Now it's just the same old one liners and youtube clips. I am not saying I am worthy contributor to this site, but you were.
I start random threads for no reason? You do realize that this is the parking lot right? Perhaps you mean worthless/pointless threads? If that's the case find me one. I post youtube videos that are a) on topic, b) I find humorous and somewhat on topic, or c) shed light on a particular topic and angle I am interested in. As they say one man's trash is another man's treasure but to call me extreme is itself extreme. BTW some of these videos are self explanatory but perhaps I should elaborate on why I am posting them? If you want to discuss the videos further be my guess. I'll be happy follow suit. I don't have to be the driver all the time, you can take the wheel. |

Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
There was a post about a year ago from someone in NVA (can not rember who it was) and basically they said that the people in NVA are kind of embarassed that they are lumped into the rest of VA. Kind of like the people in NVA are better then the rest of the state.
First off it is NOVA not NVA and yes they are generally a bunch of snobs there. It is the heart of the rat race. |

Thanks for the link I tried to see if I could get it to work but after hitting reply to a thread I could not find that YouTube Icon. So where is it? |
Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
Just copy and paste the url into a post, there's no need for any button or special code anymore.

Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
Thanks I'll give it a try.

Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
I tried and all I get is the part after the = sign and nothing else. So I tried with your example and jut had this on the post. Rq3sWEIZyqo
I think I'm missing those YT brackets to put the code in between. |
Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
Now I think you're just being funny.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq-eeWow_WU"]YouTube - Joe Biden Can't Count[/ame] Well the part about the clip yes, but I'd love to know how to transfer it here so all you have to do is click the arrow and the video begins. |
Re: Liberal = Anti-American?
I am missing something here...if I am 63 and two years away from retirement can I opt-out and what does opting-out mean? What if I am 50 years old? What exactly are my choices? What will happen to the money I contributed in the past ~30 years? I mean that money is long gone and all the spiffy 20-30 year olds are putting their money in private accounts. Are we perhaps going to need to bail out people of a certain age?
i addressed that in my last post. and firstdown explains it too, but basically the old timers keep their benefits and as less people are due government benefits, the SS tax burden goes away, solving 1 of the 2 insanely out of line tax burdens. retirement planning and medical coverage aren't bad ideas, but they've been implemented poorly and managed terribly. |
