Not to hijack this thread but I have to say that commercial is probably the worst commercial I've ever seen. For some reason that song just makes me cringe. It makes me want to break that guitar over that guy's head.
It can't be as bad as this....Un freaking believable [yt]3PH9qAGPULk[/yt] And here's Jeff Garlin's take on the above @ 4minutes 55 seconds [yt]gR5Cv42LbCY[/yt] |

i think they changed it like 4 or 5 years ago but i could be wrong
They did not change the rule. You can have a tie. |

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
Before the preseason, I'd have stuck firmly at 8-8...I'm going to disagree with what someone else in the thread said...I think as a whole we have done some things to make you think we're a better team....I'm going to go 10-6, I'm sure we'll probaboly lose a game that we should win (like Buffalo) and we'll probaboly win a game we should probaboly lose (like New England)....
As long as were healthy, this team can compete, if we start losing key guys, I dont know if we have the depth anywhere but secondary to still be a top teir team...its always hard to tell...but I love my skins so 10-6 |

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
10 or 11 wins .... we got this on lock

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
10-6 at best. more realistically 9-7

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
I really feel our D is fixed, (regardless of the Jags score), and our O will be tougher, to me that will translate to a 10 or 11 win season. We are more talented now than we have been in the past decade or so.

Re: Your final win/loss prediction for 2007
My position on the defense has not changed from a month ago. I still worry about this unit. What the preseason has shown is encouraging, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. The pass defense will definately improve though (with 100% certainty).

What did you say a month ago? While I do not feel we will rival the Ravens, I feel our LB's get better, and our Secondary is twice, if not 3 times better than it was last year. Sure our up front 4 is weak, but with a strong secondary, and good lb's coupled with a healthy front 4, we should be a 5-10 defense this year. |

There's no way the defense won't be better than last year. I'm thinking we're going to see a huge statiscal jump as well. They're faster and frankly, a little more stout in the middle. You never say never, but I just don't see Rogers dropping that many ints this year, and for the most part he was usually in position to make a play on the ball. Yeah, we'll be good on that side of the ball. |

Run defense will regress, but I don't know how much. But we should force a lot more turnovers and the defense should get a lot better than last year because of it. I forsee a middle of the pack defense, maybe between 18-22 in the league. Combined with a top half offense, it should be good enough for 9 wins. |

Fletcher is a run stopping machine. With a completely renovated secondary, that will free up the LB's to do more blitzes and shy closer to line, while last year we needed every man, including the sideline judges to try to stop the pass. I agree our run defense will be our biggest issue on the D, but it will amaze you to see how much better they will get BECAUSE the secondary is fixed. If we're sitting at 18-22, Williams needs to be fired. |

Why thank you. That commercial sure is goofy, but it makes me want a Snickers. And it makes me want someone to sing me a song while I eat it. It also makes me think about going tubing on a river of caramel. |
