Well damn man, we've been talking for a few days about Garcon (along with Meriweather) returning after the bye. And of course Jamal "The Truth!" Brown |
Has there been any talk about going back to the 4-3? Not saying that will help but 2/3 years this 3-4 has been awful. We are getting more turnovers so that's the good part.
I don't see that happening as long as MS is the coach. But it would be nice Orakpo and Kerrigan DE's. That would be better than Manley and Mann.... |
Cam led his team to a National Championship, and his junior college team to a national championship. He led a crappy Carolina team to a 4 win improvement in season #1. He was a leader, and he was always smiling and upbeat last year. He's being broken there now under expectations and pressure because the team can't play at a higher level.
Robert looked genuinely hurt to me by this loss, almost quizzical, like "what else can I do?" He has to feel let down by the way this season is going. Especially considering his high level of play. Shanahan has done a bad job, in my honest opinion, of giving him a strong supporting cast with an attitude, and he's had 3 years to do so. Not halfway into his rookie season, and already it's all on his shoulders. Winning is a mindset, and that comes from the top.
|

It's the truth. You don't let the opposing center snap the ball unless you've checked Williams is 25 yds off the LOS. When I went back on DVR it looks like Williams is about 12 yards off, and then yes he stepped forward, but that's sort of football instinct and wouldn't have mattered had he been in position. |

The Redskins players and coaches must have thought that the Giants were going to dink and dunk their way to the endzone and (erroneously) played the short pass. I feel that the fault lies on both players and coaches. As SS said, as a veteran, Williams should have known not to expose himself by being too close to the LOS knowing that he doesn't have the speed to compensate. And someone in the coaching staff should have notice this and made adjustments. |

We won't miss him. |

Skins probably thought Giants would work the sidelines and the clock

Why do they only play that way on one side of the football field? I think Madieu just screwed up..... |
Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

We probably already miss him. How could you even say we wont miss him when we haven't had him enough to know? We're sure as hell gonna miss him without Davis. |

We never knew what we had to miss him. |
Re: Skins/Giants post game thread
Yeah who needs a guy that can catch a ball and go 88 yards for a score? Shit like that is so overrated.
