Going to the office General Meeting and watching the following people receive "Awards For Excellence":

1. A person who works incredibly hard and puts in lots of hours ... fixing her many, many dumb mistakes;

2. A person up for the same promotion as me; and

3. A person who took part in an international junket that was cited by an independent auditor, and reporter in a leading paper, as being a terrible waste of tax payers money (the entire thing could have been done using video/skype type tech) AND the reasons cited in the award were for the "work" she did on the cited junket.

I went home and drank heavily. <sigh>

The assholes who put those "almost high beems headlights" on their cars.
Just seeing this pic or watching a commercial for these headlights pisses me off. More visability and saftey for you at the expense of everyone else on the road.

I bet it's not these types of lights that bug you. These are legitimate off the shelf products. Marginally brighter than what come from the factory.

What grinds your gears is probably the eBay/Craigslist HID retrofit kits. Those are the real offenders.

You are right! People on TR4.org are always putting those on.

They need to work on anti-glare etc tech for auto glass rather than limit lights

Not that it matters but it actually has to do with how the browser handles it vs how it is programmed

This is what grinds my gears:

Joshua Waddell, a first lieutenant in the U.S. Marines, appeared on his way to a stellar career as an American military officer. The son of a retired Navy SEAL commander, Waddell was awarded a Bronze Star during his first tour of duty in Afghanistan and had returned for a second.
Then he made a decision in combat that military experts say has severely jeopardized his future in the corps.

But some military experts say the black mark on Waddell's record was undeserved, that he and other young American officers are being put in a difficult, if not impossible, situation by unreasonable rules of engagement foisted upon the military by politically sensitive commanders in the Pentagon.

After you read the 'incident' try to picture the desk jockey that came up with the ROE.

That's crazy. They definitely need to clear up the ROE, because I'd be pissed if that happened to me.

You're a fashionable dressed, husky trucker in a sub-compact 18-wheeler?

This is just like 'What's My Line', today won't be a waste after all!
Just type the first letter and it'll automatically scroll down. :)
When you type in V for Va it does pull up the states but it starts with Vermont. So then you have to scroll down to Va and hit enter. So what I'm saying is that they make it a three step process when I could have just typed in Va and kept going. I guess it does not grind my gears I just think its stupid I have to go through 3 steps to type in va.
