I'm not picking at health, but he now regularly misses one or two games. So what he gives us isn't that much, and we know he :vomit: in the sb, not that we will get there before he moves on to the Vikings. |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
I'll take await and see approach, i have a friend who is a eagurls fan and he said I'm running with you now Doug Williams Pt. 2.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Well, look on the bright side. McNabb is not going to have one-dimensional playcaller who abandons the run or never bothers to establish it. He's also going to have plenty of oppurtunities to roll out or pass on a bootleg.

And with LJ, we actually have a goal line running game, something he never had in Philly. |
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Live oOn ESPN news a little while ago Andy Reid said, "if Donovan McNabb were here in philly he would be the starter no question."
That made me realize the high caliber of player we are getting at the most important position on the field. With our incredibly talented young TE's and WR's...and Portis, Johnson and Parker in the backfield we have instantly upgraded to a legitimate NFL offense overnight. Shanahan and his staff combined with a McNabb is a major deal. Now we get the best LT available at #4 which will be an immeadiate starter. . |
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Is this a bad time to ask the Eagles to send Reid and DeSean Jackson as well?
When in the NFL have you seen a team trade for a guy and then turn around right around and trade him? This isn't Madden.
Wait, Hold the phone, This isn't Madden WTF???? I was banking on that trade McNabb for the top 3 picks in the draft |
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
I feel like maybe i am the only one but i don't like the trade. I want shanny to groom a long term qb not a stop gap. Now any QB they get will be a late round project.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Sure it's possible. Doesn't mean anything close to this will happen.
I gotta say, I do firmly believe we'll either find a trade partner for our 4th pick and acquire multiple lower picks and/or move at least one or two players for picks. I don't care who our QB is, if the line doesn't drastically improve, nothing else will matter.
I agree the line need to be the 1st thing we should be fixed with or without McNabb all I am saying is we very well could be contenders this year. Depending on the moves we make from here on out. |

It's starting to look like we are gearing up for a run in 2004, with our RBs and QBs. I can't believe how aggravated/frustrated I am by this move... |

If McNabb is good at tossing it to a little dude, then why can't we just use our own receivers? |

Agree. but the move allows us to have a QB better than JC and at the same time gives us a great opportunity to cash in on JC. |
