Re: NFL Draft Thread
I agree we should be keeping Fuller, need a veteran in that very young group. I think Ron and Co have pretty much moved on from Roullier, he has all but directly stated that Gates is the starting Centre and drafting Stromberg pretty much confirms it. After two such bad injuries it would not surprise me if Roullier retired.
Yeah, you know what really pisses me off is our dead cap charge. And Norwell is the only I guy see for sure they will be cutting. That will put us over 20 millions dollars in just wasted space: Dead Money Name Cap Number William Jackson III $9,000,000 Landon Collins $5,025,000 Bobby McCain $2,800,000 J.D. McKissic $2,000,000 TOTAL $18,988,157 Like who are these morons signing bad fucking players? It’s Ron and company Like why did we sign McCain just to cut him the following year? Norwell too? I like how Oline has been a focus, but damn, Roullier is maybe our Olineman when healthy. |
Re: NFL Draft Thread
We're middle of the pack as far as dead cap goes...several teams in the over $50 mil range. Not too concerned about that...it's part of the deal with salary cap gymnastics...

Re: NFL Draft Thread
that HH signing trackers shows a lot of WR/DB and very little OL :/ maybe because it's mini-camp focused and that's easier to check without contact?

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Defenders to the Championship! Just to distract from some anger in this thread.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Reports, out there that Bieniemy was all in on the 6th round pick Rodriguez. A 6th round pick is hardly a lock to make the roster but Rodriguez's traits may suggest an offensive philosophy.
The scouting report says he is a power runner that grinds yards through contact without much burst or elusiveness. More in the mold of B-Rob than McKissic. I'm really eager to see what the running game is going to look like with backs we have. Right now, Gibson is our dual threat back and he is anything but a McKissic type. Also, intrigued if 2 back sets are going to be more frequent. |
Re: NFL Draft Thread
Lol @ not addressing LB again
|
Re: NFL Draft Thread
I think we're probably ok at LB considering the defense we run. Honestly, I'd rather them address kicker and punt/kick returner before LB. I don't feel like the LB position has been as much a liability as the kicking/return game has.

(I know Snell isnt on the team anymore) |

Looks like they're pencilling in Kaz Allen (UDFA) as a returner. Fast and something of a hybrid like AG, though size is a factor. I'm reminded of Banks a few years ago, so...🤔 |
