But Bieniemy could just want 1 of his guys here.
I think the mindset is to have two lead backs and to have back ups for each of them. I think both Patterson and Williams are more in the B-Rob mold, a tough/in-between the tackles RB. We really don't have a back up in the Gibson mold, so maybe that's what they would also want. Also, I do agree that it could also be EB wanting one of his guys in the RB room. |
Re: Commanders 2023 Free Agency Thread
I feel bad for McKissic. He was extremely valuable to our check-down centric offense. I hope he can play somewhere next year.

I wasn't aware he failed his physical. Best of luck to him. |

I'm surprised how split we all are on if Brissett is an improvement or not. I'm in the definitely improved camp.
Yes we go to the bar and have wsh/cle/phi/bal on all the tvs next to eachother |

Keyword backup. I will be distraught if this dude is even talked about as a potential starter. Hence this current 2 day freak out here lol |

That was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I apologize if that post came off a bit dickish. We'll just have to agree to disagree on Brissett. I think he's better than Heinicke. I think we all agree, HOWELL WIN THE JOB BABY!!! |
Re: Commanders 2023 Free Agency Thread
can a team win a championship with a average QB with these ingredients??
*strong O line ( given time a average QB can be effective) *solid Running game ( takes pressure off passing) * solid WR/TE *Very Good D ( top 10 D?) We don’t have a Top level QB .. probably won’t get one this year so what are realistic expectations? |

He has never lost a game in the NFL! |
I think JD was the 3rd down/pass catching back, but he was injured and now he's gone. I heard somewhere that McKinnon could be in the mix. You got the Robinson/Gibson as main backs, McKinnon as the 3rd down. So either Patterson or Williams may not be around.
Yeah he definitely was. And a damn good one. Was referring to last year with Patterson and Williams. Didn’t know McKinnon was an option- agree with you and Chico though. If that’s the case yeah get him. Keep Williams too. I like him better than Patterson. |

1-0. If I was him I'd retire with being no worse than tied for the greatest winning % of all times. |

The only QB to win that was not playing top level in the last decade is Nick Foles and even then. The team was 11-2 with Carson Wentz having a near MVP season. After that you have to go all the way back to 2006 when Rex Grossman was the losing QB with the Bears and that is a moot point. The game has changed so much since 2006. I think you can make the playoffs. Win the division. Maybe win a playoff game but that is about the ceiling. |
