Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
The real question for this thread should be: who will be our NEW GM? With a real NFL GM, they will bring on the next HC.
If Snyder wants to get the fanbase excited again he will clean house and throw the books at Lincoln Riley and or Urban Meyer / Jim Harbaugh. Hire a legit GM like Lou Riddick and lets get moving.
You think he has worn out his welcome by continually getting thumped by Ohio State, not contending for a play-off spot, and his 1-3 bowl record? He still has improved them a lot over the previous two coaches. If what they claim is true Michigan is never going to contend for a national title as they don't give out cash and other perks to players that violate NCAA rules. |
Forget Bruce right now. I'm wondering if Snyder will keep Callahan and O'Connell for the sake of Haskins development. Let's just say things keep improving the rest of these last 4 games.
I agree. I think this will honestly be his first choice. I'm sure he's been working the phones do see what kind of splash he can make. I think Bruce and Callahan only stay if Snyder is rejected by everyone else. Also, if Bruce is fired, I think Gregg Williams is absolutely in play. I could see him keeping much of the offensive staff in tact. |

That and he was pretty damn good in the pros |

I still don't understand how anyone would hire Josh McDaniel after he wrecked the Broncos. It's not like he is bringing Brady and Belichick with him to any team. |
Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
I want Riley , dude is an offensive genius and a young fiery coach.. But he ain't leaving Norman for that job

Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
Ron Rivera is now available...

Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
Rivera loses to the Redskins turned out to be promotions for former Redskin Coaches:
Our EX DB coach Perry Fewell is Interim HC. Norv is taking over as special assistant to the HC. Norvs son Scott is taking over as OC. |
Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
Rivera as a DC would be cool. Need a HC first.

Again Bruce has to go first. |
Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
I'd like Ron as the DC not Head coach

Agree, need an offensive minded coach to help develop Haskins. McLaurin looked like a solid #1 WR right out of the box, and Guice had a break out game that makes the future look bright for him. Defense is improving in spite of Manusky. Just need the QB position to come along and we could be on our way to getting the first double digit win season in a long time. |
Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
Rivera's teams never had much offense outside of that miracle Cam MVP season. We need an offensive mind to get Haskins rolling
