Re: Most Excited About...?
I'd love to see us have a bruising back to run in conjunction with Portis. I hope either White or Nemo pans out.

Re: Most Excited About...?
I'm excited to see Brunell throw the ball around some.
|
Re: Most Excited About...?
brunell? why? didn't you see his performance in the first eight games last season? wasn't that enough for you? the dude has lost all accuracy, and throw power. when he threw the ball last season it looked like he threw it with a broken arm or something. if his arm was going this way ^ the ball would go this way >
I think Nemo will be make the big splash.
I get it. Nemo-Finding Nemo, as in fish, splash-as in water. Damn Offiss, your posts are always on a higher plane aren't they. I think Rabach is exciting because he's a definite (I hope) improvement over the person he's replacing. If all goes well we'll never hear from Rabach all season long. Rogers, Holdman, Moss-those are all at the moment nothing more than lateral moves really over who we had before |

I'm guessing he was kidding, at least I hope so. And wow, Brunell is gonna be pretty sad in Madden if both his "accuracy" and "throw power" are down. I think you might have forgotten awareness though...his awareness is depleted as well. |
Re: Most Excited About...?
Maybe the most overlooked aspect of the Redskins this season: what can a healthy Philip Daniels do for us? We've heard Gregg Williams say that we're a different team when he's on the field. I like the pass rush he gives us from the DE spot.
Problem is, the dude is always hurt. Can we expect health from him this season? Or will we only see him for a handful of the games? If he plays, I think that can provide a spark for our defense. |
Re: Most Excited About...?
Good thinking. I also think that he may be the reason we didn't pursue a pass rusher in the offseason and draft.

For the millions of dollars he's getting paid to sit on the bench, his jewel-sack better have been ripped open. |
Re: Most Excited About...?
yeah im sure daniel's million dollar sack is spitting out burgundy and gold right now.

Re: Most Excited About...?
I'm definitely going to give him the benefit of the doubt for next year. Last year, whenever he was on the field, which was rare, he was always making plays.

Re: Most Excited About...?
Holdman and Rabach.
As Tony Kornheiser would say, That's it! That's the list! |

I'm also excited about Carlos Rodgers and his toughness. As much as I liked Smoot, I saw him whiff on no less than 6 sacks (i.e. against the Ravens, Packers, Cowgirls). I don't think we need to worry about Rodgers looking like he's playing flag football when he's rushing the quarterback.
Ramsey fan you beat me to it........I wanted to post that Smoot took a few plays off .........hopefully Rogers, will be even better than Smoot.......Rogers is versatile, smart, tough, and has good speed......... |
