He has had four years to try to get better players... When the offense, defense, and special teams all suck after 4 years, who should be held accountable? The players that the coach selected, developed and put in position to fail or should all the blame go to the players even though the coaches failed them?
So you can't read the part that I said the coaches are not blameless? |
Re: Skins Giants postgame
WTF was that on our last series where they moved the chains and said we had a first down. we run a play then they say its 4th down... how can they change that? down does decide what play you call and could have made a difference.. I know our play wasn't good but still that was highway robbery. refs need to be investigated. maybe Mara paid them

Re: Skins Giants postgame
Thats not moronic to say at all. Robert can thrive in any system. Alfred can run in any system. It's these dick fuck Shanahans that could end his career before it gets off the ground.
Yes. Any coach could do a better job than Kyle, b/c Kyle is a one of kind fucking 'tard to have his QB managed the way he does. Kyle leads te league in WR's in the backfield. Robert can be a QB if only Kyle were 86'd.
So you think that a new coach is going to make our guards and center block better, improve our ILBS and make our veteran WRs catch the ball? That's just laughable. As I said before the coaches are not blameless and share the responsibility for this mess up. But people act like a new coach is going to make up for all the mediocrity we have. Hell, with an average line and back up receivers, this would be a better team. |
Re: Skins Giants postgame
My two cents...
Jim Haslet has to go, the Special Teams coach has to go, team needs a total rebuild of the offensive line, and all new defensive backs. Just my two cents. Sent from my RCT6378W2 using Tapatalk
I can agree with some of that. I don't think that we need all new defensive backs. Rambo and Amerson are legit imho and will be assets next year. The right side of the line needs to be upgraded. A new punter, a true #2 receiver and a replacement for Fletcher is in order...a complete offseason for the starting offense would be nice. Still a tall order with no 1st rounder, but it can be done. I do think that given the bogus salary cap penalty and the injury to RG the team is still on the right track and will be MUCH better next year if they can fill (upgrade) some of these holes. Oh, and the head official should be fined for that shit tonight though. Not that it decided the game (maybe)... |
Re: Skins Giants postgame
id take incognito. he fits our style rg3 needs someone like that up front and we know hes not bullying trent lol
but i dont want Britt either. |

fred davis and josh morgan for dexter mccluster, wed have an extra wr and returner in one shot.
Really? Any coach can come and win with the sorry as players we have? What a moronic thing to say.
People need to get over the boner inducing hate on our coaches. They are not blameless, but if players can't make simple plays, not even Lombardi makes them win. We need better players period. If we had AVERAGE offensive linemen, ILBs, and secondary receivers, we'd have a better record. One thing is to take young unproven players and make them play well (see Indy last year). But another is having mediocre players that can't block, catch, or tackle.
You are wasting your time. Some people can't see the forest for the trees and they have to use vulgar trolling to make a point. |

Great job by Kyle and the offense after the 1st quarter. pathetic

Aldrick Robinson is a fucking joke at WR. Great find by Shanny.

I honestly don't care what defensive front we run as long as it's effective. What we're doing now is pure garbage.
We got so robbed lmao
If we could have just caught the ball none of this would be a factor. Got a bad feeling about RG3 being a franchise QB. For all we gave up to get him you would think he could be somewhat close to a very accurate passer. Sure Tom Brady is an anomaly but does RG3 have the awareness and accuracy that QBs that you pay 3 first round picks for have? I don't see it. To think Tom Brady was a 6th round pick is amazing compared to 3 first round draft picks and the differences in talent passing be so wide. Hope I'm wrong in a big way. Maybe just maybe this is the O-line and Kyle Shanahan's fault. RG3 seemed mighty happy after the game high fiving team members laughing with players etc. I don't get it. |
So, was Alfred Morris injured?
Apparently not, shanny said in postgame he just chose not to give him the ball |
Re: Skins Giants postgame
I don't think I've ever want a season to end more than this one. There is plenty of blame to go around. However I don't ever want to see Kyle Shanahan again. Enough with the high school plays. This is NFL ball. Go coach high school if you want to run that crap. I honestly think Florida State has a better offense than we do.

Re: Skins Giants postgame
I went to bed with 8.5 minutes left,I've never done that before, glad I didnt stay up to see that mess. What a fkup by the refs, but Davis should have caught that ball.Best receiver on team suddenly forgets how to catch at end of game.Shanahan makes another bad decision on a challenge, more special teams mistakes.....
We did have a bright spot,RG3 probably played his best game of the season. He showed what he could do when he gets the kind of protection Tom Brady does.He probably couldnt believe how much time he had to pass in the first half. He did have the one long pass that was way overthrown, same problem he's had all season, but when we needed it he threw the bullet to Davis who dropped it,his receivers really let him down this game |

That's a terrible idea. If we added those three, we would also need to add a clinical psychologist and a parole officer to the staff, just for them. I'll give you one of them - Talib. He would be a big improvement to our secondary and he seems to be behaving himself of late. |

How can you only score a field goal the last 3 quarters of the game yesterday. Giants defense is not good. How? im fucking lost. Someone please help me, how the fuck do you only get 90 yards in the fucking second half on offense?

That's what happens when A.) U have no threats at all on offense, Garcon is the only guy that people respect. B.) When u run a shitty college style Option stupid ass offense with Moss's old ass in the back field. C.) When the right side of our line is incredibly bad, All of Tuck's sacks came on that side. D.) Morris hardly played in the 2nd half |

This team is a failure on so many levels right now. Painfully bad on both sides of the ball and in the coaching ranks. A good lesson learned for all the overhype and super-inflated expectations going into next season. Not to mention the arrogance from the head coach, quarterback, and the media here. 18 million in extra cash isn't going to come close to fixing everything that's wrong with this team. That's if any free agents want to come to this dysfunctional mess. |
Re: Skins Giants postgame
I like how people are still fired up at this point, like you were expecting anything different from this team last night? lol
Miserable performances by the OL and receivers, to me those two units are glaring reasons why the offense struggles to maintain any consistency. I'm tired of seeing Polumbus and Chester getting schooled and how many dropped passes can you have in one night? Unreal. On defense what else can you say, the cupboard is so bare outside of Hall, Rak, Kerrigan, Cofield, and probably Riley. All the rest are scrubs and shouldn't even be starting. Hey at least that 2nd rd pick will be a high one eh? |

The play calling got complacent quite quickly last night. I would like some reasons for that. We clearly didn't make adequate in game adjustments. |

When we got the turnover early second half, Kyle called triple option to the short side. When Moss or Garcon motioned to the backfield, the Giants re aligned their Linebackers and shifted to the short side. First, why are we running a triple option to the short side, second, when we motioned WR to the backfield everybody knows what we are about to run and when you see the Giants adjust with LB (thats what good coaches do, they make adjustments at halftime) you need to get out of the play. One thing killing me are the stupid f*cking penalties: the multiple unsportsman like, the kicking of the ball by garcon, the false start by FD...This is stuff we can control. |

To put this in perspective of how bad that mistake by the refs was, if this exact same scenario happened in baseball: Bottom 9th, bases loaded, Nationals up to bat and down by 1. Batter has 2 strikes on him. Batter takes outside pitch, called a ball. Next pitch hits batter to bring home tying run. Umpire says "You know, I think the pitch before that last one might have hit the outside corner, I'm changing it to strike 3. You're out, New York wins. Bottom line, ONCE ANOTHER PLAY IS RUN, YOU CANNOT GO BACK AND CHANGE THE CALL OF A PREVIOUS PLAY! YOU MUST GO WITH WHAT WAS CALLED ON THE FIELD! Now I know how Raiders fans must have felt in the "tuck rule" game. That was the worst screw-up by refs I've seen happen to our team. Inexcusable and once again, Mara gets help. The Giants always seem to get help. I don't think it's a coincidence. I have no doubt that this game would have gone to ovetime, if we didn't go for 2. RGIII has been very reliable in last-minute drives and overtimes....he just finds a way to get it done when the game is on the line. Unfortunately, we're not in the position to win often enough this year. |
