lol, yea technically joecrisp also earned his own avatar, but hes always had his own so I dont think he really cares.

Ya know, technically ive almost always had my own anyways, and that was by doing the same thing that anyone on this site can do, by having the most posts. lol, but unless Gibbs says he wants to draft another Cane I dont ever see me catching Matty again at this point.

CRT3: He got 2nd in a warpath contest - therefore he gets to design his own avatar. I couldn't even tell you who is on my avatar. Just ignore that side of the page. Besides looking at names, I do the same.

actually, i really don't care. i like the clean look of the site. the more freedoms we get the more it won't look like the warpath anymore, it will look like all the others. although, i understand what your issue is CRT3, the best solution right now is to just keep posting away until you get enough to change it...then you won't have to worry about morton anymore.

Mostly all of us had to pay our dues and move up the latter. to me, it's kind of like someone coming straight out of college expecting to be hired in as President of the company. You gotta earn your stripes! I had to wear the blue hat and I spent time with the Morton avatar.

Caught 1 TD last year, but seem to get caught stealling a few things in college. Do you still want his Avatar?

I voted fine the way it is. I know Matty will have better ones for next season, so I'm not really worried about it.

But if I did have the option of choosing my own, I wouldn't be against it either.

I like it how it is. I certainly don't want individuals to pick their own, but I'm not as opposed to a pool of avatars for every rank. As is it'll just take longer to load pages and avatars really DON'T MATTER!

Thanks Matty. It is interesting to note that the above comments people say they are fine with it but aren't oppose to having it changed. Please also correct me or Daesal will it take longer to load these if we have a choice of Avatars?

It will take longer on the average load to get multiple avatars, and it will take forever if people can pick whatever they like. Not to mention increase the bandwidth the site uses, and bandwidth isn't free.

Many people will cache a lot of the icons, no doubt about that. Personally, I much prefer it the way it is. If it is changed, just don't let people chose their own avatars it will slop the site up.

CRT3 - it's also interesting to note that everyone except you has voted to keep it the way it is as of now.

same here, as long as a silly thing like our avatars doesn't mess up and take away anything from what we all enjoy about this site.

I have been posting but between wife, kids and work I have other things that I do. So by posting messages like this it makes me one closer to getting rid of Morton. With my luck he will return and score on more then one return and will be crowned the king of all return men.

i am this close to turning off avatars altogether...they add nothing to the site, except to be able to see certain skins. i personally like how the avatar represents your rank.

i understand having personal issues with morton, however if that is changed based on one or 2 requests, that opens a flood gate to other changes...keeping people focused on little things instead of the broad picture

matty's in charge...it is his call to make, and i back it 100%.
