Dare I make the comparsion? Tebow can be like Michael Vick...the football player part of him.
I mean, did you see his 40 yard TD run? Sure he doesn't have the change of direction type of speed that Vick has, but that boy can move. And he should have had two TD passes instead of one. Hit a receiver right in the numbers and it was dropped in the endzone. |

And yeah, the preseason game where I saw him told me that he definitely had potential to be good...he was definitely better than Quinn. Josh McDaniels may have at least left the Broncos with a good quarterback. :D |

I think the touch on that pass to Lloyd was better than his run. And how about Lloyd this season? Unreal
Denver wont keep Orton, especially after Tebow gets all the media hype after this game
I would LOVE to see the Skins get Orton in the off season. Wonder what the odds of that are? |

It's because when he talks his guns flex a little bit and he likes to go back after the game and watch the replay. :pimp: |
Re: around the nfl week 15
BJ Raji has been eating up the NE OL all night, pretty impressed with his play and that kid Flynn looks great.

Finally someone agrees with me!! Orton can play and had always been underrated IMO..I'd say we have a chance to get him if we really want to |
Re: around the nfl week 15
I'm quickly becoming a fan of this Flynn kid (Backup QB GB) he looks impressive.
|
Re: around the nfl week 15
Gb has been high on Flynn for a while no shock that he is playing this well, can he run our offense? Lol

I hope slim and none, and slim just left town that clown isn't coming to DC. He's a no good bum, thats getting ready to get the axe well do to the fact that he sucks and can't get it done for the team he's currently with. Just what we need another used up trash bag QB in DC... |

Re: around the nfl week 15
Having seen Flynn in limited action in preseason, he had certainly had performed well in that time, so it's no surprise he's doing alright for the Packers.

He could be an interesting trade prospect if the team can't land a decent QB in the draft. |

Couple Flynn's ability to come in and play well when needed as a backup with Rodgers' two concussions this season, and I don't see think there's any way the Packers let him get away. |

They've got Rogers for a long time so why not. If the right offer is made. |
Re: around the nfl week 15
I'm really high on this Flynn kid too. He was pretty impressive tonight and probably wouldn't be that hard to get from GB. While Orton isn't necessarily a bad idea, I don't think I could take it if the Skins were the team to put Grossman and Orton back together. I wouldn't be able to watch SportsCenter anymore.
|
Re: around the nfl week 15
Orton is definitely solid and a guy that has won quite a few games in this league, I wouldn't hate it if we brought him here, not at all. Should be interesting to see if the Broncos will be ready to hand things over to Tebow.
I still think Grossman returns as the caretaker until a rookie is ready, but it's obviously too early to have a good idea what could happen. |
Dunta Robinson already has
Everytime I see Deshaun Jackson playing I get teary eyed because thhe one person would have put a target on that guys back and was fast enough to put him down for the game would have been Sean Taylor. But who knows, another year of Whey Protein, 4 hour a day workouts and eating nails for breakfast and Landry might end that guy next year in 1 play. |

Normally I would agree but not this time ...in this game he earned it. The Giants have earned every negative thing that is going to come their way, a melt down of that calibur is coaching ....TOM COUGHLIN is gone and yes you need to cut the punter ...he was told and he still didn't listen ....to hell with him!To make the playoffs after playing like that would be a sin! |

lol G-Men fans in my office are so depressed today walking around like zombies, it's like they all had a death in the family this weekend or something. Can't blame them, what a crushing loss.

nevermind, he was inactive.
No, but I did see Lance Moore's (I think it was him, not entirely sure though) incredible touchdown catch against the Ravens. What a lucky yet beautiful play. I thought after that the Saints would have a game, instead Ray Rice, Running Back from Rutgers, ran all over the Saints d to seal the deal. |

Re: around the nfl week 15
Yeah, I mean honestly though, I can't think of another guy in the league that showboats to show up his opponents the way Desean Jackson does. I dont mind guys dancing, I dont mind guys celebrating at all... Its an emotional game...but the way Jackson does is just disrespectful to his opponents and one of these days someone is gonna smack him right in the mouth and he'll deserve it.
At least he celebrates touchdowns and not getting a first down when the Eagels are trailing by 17 points. |

Wishing for someone to "end that guy next year in 1 play" is a bit disturbing. You might want to cut back on the caffeine. |

The problem is that celebrating takes priority over actually scoring for Jackson. |
Re: around the nfl week 15
So now Favre might play tonight
|
Re: around the nfl week 15
Quite the recovery, from being declared out (0% chance of playing) a few days ago to now questionable.
|
Re: around the nfl week 15
The field has been cleared but is more snow expected? I hope so, I want to see the drama elevated, then I want to see Chicago win, but only because I picked em in a pool.

It's just difficult for me to fantom Favre still wanting to play at this point in the season with absolutely nothing on the line for the Vikes. Sometimes Favre makes me think 20 yrs. in the NFL has dulled his senses. Re: around the nfl week 15
Brett's done ....after last night he didn't last long.
|
Re: around the nfl week 15
^he sure didn't and that field did not look forgiving. pretty sweet for the de though, first sack in the nfl is most likely the last snap for farve, he just looked old last night. hopefully now farve will just go away for a while
|
Re: around the nfl week 15
That might've been his last snap. After the game Favre's reasoning for coming back was that he wanted to play in the snow in probably the last home game of his career. Well he did that, but not for long. If he sits out the next two I won't be suprised, I really do think this is it for the gunslinger.
