I'll bet thats why they signed him... pierce had a year in the system and their offense owned us... now he's got an ace up his sleeve and is pushing for the at-home upset. There's no way he got signed to them based upon his playing

I wish we could have re-signed Pierce, he's a young, smart, and talented MLB who wasn't asking us to break the bank. Unfortunately, Pierce and Smoot were our first "cap casualties."

Nevertheless, we'll overcome both of those "losses." I have faith in the coaching staff.
