Lions a bit beat up. WR Golladay nursing a hip injury, new addition DE Everson also injured.

Skins - gibson (shoulder), Geron Christina (knee) and Hopkins with a groin injury.

If Hopkins cant go ... do we have to risk dropping a guy to the PS to make room to add some random kicker for 1 week of action?

They do have a kicker on the practice squad. I'm sure there's a good reason why he's not on an active roster though...Hopefully Hopkins can go, but honestly I get nervous every time we line up for a FG or extra point. It is a position I hope we address in the offseason.

Im convinced the future of kicking will be a guy who can punt and place kick. The Ravens had a guy with a big leg who could do both. It blows my mind there hasnt been a guy that can do both.

Extra roster spot is huge for carrying a 3rd QB (protect a nate sudfeld type developmental player)
