Add a young TE maybe off of someone's practice squad.

re: Fred Davis Done for Season. Welcome Back Cooley
This training staff sucks. Orakpo, Carriker, Davis, Merriweather, Helu, Garcon. This team has wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to many injuries.
|
I totally hate seeing Fred Davis injured! If he is out for the remainder of the season...I do hope that Chris Cooley is resigned. I think he would be the best option as a replacement.

re: Fred Davis Done for Season. Welcome Back Cooley
I don't know why people are so dead set against signing Cooley. Granted it is not a given, but we need a body at TE and Niles Paul is sucking it up as a TE.

He knows the system and the players. Bring #47 back!

~~~~~ Not sure you can put all of this on the training staff. These injuries are part of the game, as sucky as it is. TV does not do this game justice. The speed and violence of the game is pretty insane. If you ever get a chance to stand on the sideline up close and personal it is amazing that some of these guys get back up. |
hailgreen wants basically any te as long as it's not cooley, or to just keep paulsen and paul |
Go with youth. |
Go with youth.[/quote] Many teams in situations like this bring back a vet that knows the system. If Cooley is not in shape then he shouldn't be signed. But if he is, I don't see what is so terrible about bringing him. At this point Paulsen is the only good TE. Paul is not catching the ball well and can't block to save his life. We need a body at the TE position and I am sure the options are slim out there. |
Forget Cooley. I say we sign Kellen Winslow :D
