Yeah, I agree, it's much worse :D
The early period may have been rough, but it had its bright spots. The first corrective eyeglasses(for farsightedness) were invented during the [long] period and the transition to a more efficient method of agriculture(3 field agriculture instead of 2 field agriculture) occured. |
I disagree. The 70's at least had character (however flawed). The 80's were just a sea of bland nothingness.
How DARE you insult the 80's. The 80's had charm not to mention 3 Redskin Super Bowl appearances. 70's were plagued by their insistint abuse of the color brown. Heck even rainbows included the color brown. Not to mention that thanks to the Redskins failure in the 72 Super Bowl we've had to hear about the Dolphins "popping the champaign" for the last 500 years. And who the hell does this to a Porsche. I cried when I saw this picture. I'm sorry is someone posting. I could have sworn I saw a post but it seems that my eyes have deceived me. It's almost like someone is trying to contact me from the great beyond. |
Re: Cool banner
Excellent job with the banner, Summo! I feel like I'm right back in the '70's: Watching Billy Kilmer drop back to pass, watching Jaclyn Smith on "Charlie's Angels," and dancing to 'Saturday Night Fever" in my leisure suit.
Don't forget the infamous Farah Fawcett poster of her in that red bikini, ahh my first crush... |
Actually, the so-called Middle Ages ain't as bad as Rome-nostalgic crowd made it out to be.
Men wearing metal helmets, carrying spears, all while walking around in a skirt is not my bag. I'll take the 70's, John Travolta, and KC and the Sunshine Band any day of the week. |

Ahhhh yes. Not to forget 1978 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cheryl Tiegs, and Bo Derek in "10". ;) Those were the days. |
Re: Cool banner
