Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week Whatever)
I still think that the FO doesn't think we have a FS problem. If we are going to pick up a FS, I say let's get Otogwe.

Springs, "I'm not retiring!!!"

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week Whatever)
I could see Springs got to NO. Sharper's status is a little iffy (right?) because of the knee. Williams could put him at FS. Badabing!

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week Whatever)
for clarification: Springs will go to Dallas because, as always the media is loving on them, and he is from there, but I am NOT saying they will go, any more than the Patriots did last year.

He grew up in the DMV area. Besides, if he goes there, that means T.O is coming here. (already burnt bridges in Philly and Dallas, and the Giants are content with what they have), and the guys at the top have passed on T.O for other vets.

mia[/quote] Thats the problem. He seemed to be injured a lot or always playing injured which means he was not 100% or remotly close. His second issue is he thinks he's worth more then he truly is or what market thinks he should be. I think if he eats a little humble pie and takes a pay cut, and takes a Safety position vs. CB position he might last a few more yrs. Problem is I think when he was with us he didn't like the idea of being a safety. |
