I've kind of jumped on the Bradford bandwagon after hearing about that Pro Day. Yes, that absolutely makes me a sucker for holding a lot of stock in that, but you're right, his accuracy is nuts.

And it's not just in a pro-day in shorts with nobody rushing him. The tape shows he calmly drops dimes even when dudes are about to crush him.

^ and Bradford is not just supremely accurate, he has a lightning quick release. With accurate throws and a quick release, a QB can go far in the NFL.

Having pored over several "coaches" tapes of the top prospects, the two guys who excite me the most are Bradford and Spiller. I would be thrilled with either of them at 4 and then an OL in the 2nd. I don't feel we have the luxury or resources to trade up to 1 to get Bradford so I wouldn't go for that. But whoever gets those guys is going to be very lucky. Then there's Dez Bryant, who is possibly the biggest question mark. I think Skinsfan69 but it best. Ultimate risk-reward

To me Eric Berry is going to be a can't miss. The guy has the work ethic, he knows how to tackle, he's a leader and he's a playmaker. He's exactly what this teams needs. IMO we should seriously think about drafting him.
GTripp's future offensive superstars:

-RB Ryan Mathews
-WR Golden Tate
-WR Dez Bryant
-RB CJ Spiller
-OT Russell Okung
-OT Trent Williams
-G Mike Iupati

GTripp's future defensive superstars

-DT Ndamakong Suh
-DT Gerald McCoy
-DE Everson Griffen
-DE Brandon Graham
-LB Jerry Hughes
-LB Sean Weatherspoon
-CB Joe Haden

That's an exhaustive list right now for me. I might add and subtract later. 14 players is a lot of superstars, so I can't imagine I'm right on all these guys (or even half), but this draft class is going to make a lot of teams look good, much like in 2004.
You think Hughes & Weatherspoon will be more successful than Rolando McClain?

I agree with the poise factor on bradford...and you have to love his wonderlic score. Most QB's who score HIGH on that test, tend to do well in the pro's. Both Manning brothers, Drew Bree's and Rivers all scored in the 30's i belive...doesn't really mean that you can't be good w/o it, I mean vince young did score a 6 on it...which is mildly retarded.
Not to belabor the Bradford lovefest I'm tossing out here, but I think it's worth noting. Yeah he played in the spread and yeah he'll take some time adjusting to a pro style offense.

But he has a ton of poise in the pocket. You can see on the tape countless instances where he was blitzed up the middle and had guys bearing down on him, but he stood in and delivered the throw without panicking, and without getting jittery. If you think about it, that's how he got his shoulder hurt against BYU. He had a safety bearing down on him, but he waited for the receiver to get open and delivered the ball accurately. Only then did he get driven into the ground and his shoulder hurt.

And that's not to say he's some statue back there waiting to get hit. He moves around in the pocket pretty well avoiding a lot of rush, just enough to buy time to throw. You can tell when he's avoiding the rush he's not looking to run, he's trying to buy the time for the WR so he can make a throw.

I see tremendous pocket presence, unbelievable accuracy, and an extremely well-grounded and smart guy. I think he picks up the pro-style offense relatively quickly and has a tremendous career.
I have to agree. After seeing that his injury hasn't had any adverse affects on his throwing, in fact he looks stronger, I think Bradford is the best QB prospect to come out in a long time.

I just cant justify drafting a safety at number 4. The guy is talented and I saw him play several times this season, IMO he is not a top ten pick. This team has much much more pressing needs especially all over Offense. On defense I think Linebacker and if we are seriously thinking 3-4 our Nosetackle position is not solidified by any means are the biggest worries. FS is a modest need, but not a #4 pick in the draft. I say vote No for Marion Berry in 2010 in DC .

While that test doesn't tell you that much, you can get a feel for who's a bright guy and who's a retard just by talking to them. Listening to Vince Young do one interview is all you need to realize the guy is a bad decision waiting to happen. Bradford reminds me of Brees, Brady, Manning, Aikman, Steve Young, Elway... in that he's a well-grounded, well-spoken, sharp kid. And you can tell he's not the type to make a lot of dumb decisions.

Evaluating this part of a person can be done on the first impression. It just takes a one-hour sit-down and you know immediately if a guy is a moron or is bright. Hell, I can tell after a few posts on this board who are the dummies.

I had the craziest dream last night about the draft. Turns out I missed the draft for some reason but I was checking who we picked and we got a 3-4 DE from Penn State at #4 and then somehow picked up an extra second round pick and took two running backs. One from Wisconsin the other from Youngstown State. I think my dream was a nightmare.

That's why you trade down and hope to get him and if you do, then trade Landry.

Re: Top Players in the 2010 Draft

My offense potental superstars.

RB- CJ spiller ( Has the Skills to succed in the nfl and make an impact day one )
Wr- D Thomas ( First guy ive seen in a while with true Randy Moss potental )
WR- J Shipley ( think will become a Wes Welker type ,great routes ,hard worker )
OT- Okug ( every year theres one OT that becomes great ,Okug is this years )
OL- Vladmir Duccasse ( think he will move to guard ,and be a strarter for many years)

Dt- Suh ( nuff said)
DT- G McCoy ( stud )
DL- J Ordick ( Versital ,and appers to be the next Ricard Seymore )
ILB- R Mclain ( will be all over the feild making tackels)
CB- Joe Haden ( Not a true ball hawk or cover corner , but can do both well if not great )
CB - Pat Robinson ( think will devolp into a shut down corner )

I agree with the Berry thinking of good not great ,and don't trust any of these QBs ,exspeacaly with some of the injury concerns. Alot of my choices won't be popular ,which i understand but alot of todays superstars are not first round picks. These guys would not nessaraly be my top 11 on my draft board ,but it's all a guessing game anyway. If i hit on some non obvis players im a genus , if i don't no ones really that surprised. But i do belive all thouse players will be succesful in the nfl ,with potental to be great.
