I have read from several sites that they are seeing an upward trend with this years team in performance & even Dikta last Monday night said that "just do what your doing Joe & it will come around"
Great to hear things like that from a legend! |
I don't see this 1 and 2 record as that bad. It's Gibbs first time back and with new coaches and new players they haven't had the time to develop a chemistry and get into full swing, I would be happy with an 8-8 record or better. This is just as long as we win the superbowl next year.

Schedule difficulty
In thinking about your post, I recalled there was an article posted somewhere noting the difficulty of our Redskin schedule, based on last year's won-loss records. Does anyone recall where that analysis was posted? I have a friend who keeps insisting our schedule is easy, though I remember the article stating that based on last year's record, our schedule is actually fairly tough.
I know Gibbs has said many times the past does not mean anything, however looking back at Redskins team past we have 1984 1-2, finished 11-5 1985 1-2, finished 10-6 1989 1-2, finished 10-6 I for one would be delirious if the team finished with a record as good as any of these old Gibbs' teams. Just thought I would point this out...keep the faith. For anyone who is interested found this interesting site with the old W-L records http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/teams.nsf/histories/redskins
|
I think our schedule is ranked on the easy side, say 20+ with 32 being the easiest. But, we do have the toughest schedule of any team in the NFC East, according to last year's records.
