Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
Hey guys any surprise? we had a few specially Aaron Glenn being tha the was the #3 CB and Newman it's hurt they also cut 2 other CB with experience Butler and Thomas for 2 7th round rookies

Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
I guess you could say Wynn was a suprise, because he was a leader in the locker room and he's been one of the longest tenured players on the team, but his play was declining lately so it isn't that suprising. Lorenzo Alexander making the team as well as Marcus Mason, Chris Wilson, and Leigh Torrence are all suprises though.

Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
Eubanks is a better corner than Torrence.
Ryan Boschetti? David Macklin? uhhh Stephon Heyer? lol I guess Heyer isn't really that much of a suprise, he's been starting this entire preseason.
Gotta love your sarcasm Mooby. Looking for peoples opinions, dude |
Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
I have watched Torrence and he has been fantastic a both corner and special teams. I cant believe Fabini made along with Boschetti. They looked horrible all preseason. I think we will still cut Fabini and pick up a decent guard. Baltimore cut Chris pino Brian Rimph, and Ndduke Ickucke. Maybe we will pick one of them up. If not, I am sure there is better than Fabini.

Looking for peoples opinions, dude
Well Ryan Boschetti is kinda a suprise lol. I didn't expect him to make the roster. I was expecting Marcus Mason to make the roster though after the way he played. Lorenzo Alexander and Chris Wilson are suprises too, but I forgot about them lol. |
Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
I kinda liked Hoag. He had pretty good hands in the pre-season.
I hope they practice squad him. |
Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
Wynn's "veteran leadership" didn't do much for us last year. He was long overdue to be shown the door. Just like with Joe Salave'a, after last year's horrid performances, nobody on the D-line other than Griffin deserved an automatic roster spot. The only puzzling thing is, they're getting rid of the bums who needed to be booted out, but didn't really do much to bring new guys in to replace them.
So let's see ... that's three draft picks (Sartz, Palmer, and Ecker) who didn't even make the team. Wonderful. Boschetti is one of those guys who rarely stands out, yet makes on the roster season after season. |
Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
Hoag has been in the league a few years, can he be on the practice squad
|
Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
I figure Jordan Palmer, Westbrook, and hopefully Buzbee will be practice squad guys, among others. So by cutting Beasley does that mean we are only going to carry one FB on the roster?

Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
Ade! Oh NO!!!!

Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
Only two I can dispute are Jimoh, our special teams ace, and Trucks. I've loved Trucks thus far.

So are we only going to carry 4 CB's this year?? By my count that's Springs, Rogers, Smoot, Macklin. Is that all or am I missing somebody? |
Re: Here are the official cuts according to JLC
your missing Leigh Torrence.
