You can't cut Ladell Betts. And I'm pretty sure Joe Gibbs knows this. Yeah, you have Southeast Jerome (that is if the Redskins aren't making his injury sound minor to save face), Lawrence Maroney (who is performing pretty well), Rock Cartwright (a personal favorite cuz he goes hard), TJ (the Heel) Duckett, and (Money) Mike Sellers, but I think Betts represents consistency and stability, something the team hasn't had since Papa Joe's first go round. And to be honest, he's still a more than servicable back when healthy...

there's no way you just cut com davis. not unless you want to be fired on the spot. and betts trade value isn't NEARLY as high as some people seem to think.

The Redskins have a RB by the name of "Lawrence Maroney" on the team? Since when did that happen?

I can't see the Texans letting Davis go unless they think his career is in serious jeopardy over this injury, which it doesn't appear to be. Just doesn't make alot of sense to release a guy with his talent when you don't have much behind him.

Typical rookie hazing. Mike Vrabel told Maroney that the Redskins bus would drop him off at his hotel on the way out of town. Too bad for him he fell asleep and woke up in Ashburn. When Gibbs found out about it later on he said, "Welcome to the team!"
