What about the Lions? They had one of the best drafts this year, and if their rookies live up to expectations they're going to have a dominating offense... imagine if Barry was still there...
i do think they will have an incredible offense...next year. that offense is now going to be extremely young and untested in the nfl so i'm gonna give them a year to gel together. plus i'm not too sure about their o-line or their defense. they definitely r a team on the rise though. |

SuperBowl: two classic superbowl opponents meet again for the third time as miami faces washington. miami starts off strong and have the lead going into half time, but with perfectly placed adjustments the skins offense wreaks havok in the second half as the defense shuts down williams and knocks out the starting qb for miami. MVP goes to portis who breaks the old record held by timmy smith with 214 yards and 3 tds. this is of course biased, but i firmly believe we have a stronger chance than we have in over a decade to make an impact this season.
And don't tell me, breaks a 4th and 1 for a long TD run deep into the 4th quarter? |
I'd have to beleive that the Skins will make the playoffs. Of course, I ALWAYS think they have a chance this early; if I didn't, my heavy drinking would begin in Sept.

that wouldn't be too bad of a way for him to close out his first year as a redskin. of course it wouldn't be as impactful to the game as riggins run cuz i see the skins winning by more than 7, but it would launch him into the discussion of great redskin runningbacks after only one season if he could pull out something like that. |
