I agree. Spear logo lose the feather if you must. But, I have a feeling it will be something else, what I'm not sure. Looks like Braves is out for sure.

Lake Lewis says he wouldn't be surprised if the monument was used in the new logo.. Maybe they could put warriors in that somehow, who knows anymore

As of now, a source said Washington plans to keep its colors burgundy and gold. That could, perhaps, change in the future but the plan for now is to keep the color scheme as they undergo a search for a new name.

Glad b&g is staying and new name is def happening. For some weird reason I though dan might hold out...but that would be a mistake which is par for dan.

Someone said Warthogs and I liked the hogs but not the wart.

Then I just saw a nice combo of Warpath and Warthogs.

I do like Redwolves though.
Redhawks are kinda cool too...and they are around the area.

Warriors is out...too Native American
Redtails is out...too African American

In terms of DC specific, I can see Senators, Federals
In terms of Military, I can see Warriors, Generals
