But he "carried" the team.

If Wilson had a three interception game and his team won, they would all be talking about how he was carried.
If he threw for 400 yards and 3 tds in that game yes i would, dude is Trent Dilfer or A.Smith, y cant people just accept it for what it is
You just described all the Young QB's. In fact you might have described every QB ever.
Yeah because Akili Smith and Cade McKnown fall into that description.

And Andrew Luck is Andy Dalton.

Unfortunately for Wilson he doesn't make mistakes like Luck and is forced to throw for that many yards.

I meant every good QB, I apologize. They always get too much credit. Same thing with Manning and Brady even though they are both great.

He might be, u haven't seen me say the dude is already elite because he is far from it. He throws way too many Ints for my liking. I'm still sticking with RG3 for the long run HTTR

I give Kaep some props. He's taking full responsibility in this press conference for losing this game.
He'll no!! Luck is still the best of the bunch, RGIII will have prove himself all over again next year. I have faith in RGIII. Wilson has an intangible, makes big plays when needed, like the 4th down TD.
This...Wilson has the knack to make big plays when needed, but by no means carries them.

Luck was making throws Wilson can't, didn't have the run game Seattle does to carry him. Manning, Brady, Rivers, Brees, Luck, Newton > Wilson. Wilson's above average, and I'd take him and all those RG3 trade picks instead of RG3 so far, not knowing if RG3 will ever get back to rookie form. But the only QB Wilson's definitely outplayed these playoffs is Dalton.

I agree. Hopefully the knee and Mike were the reasons for failure.

Nope. Not busting on your boy R Dub. If Luck or RGIII were in R Dub's place, I'd be saying the same thing. Gotta take that life-saving D away to see if you are dealing with Unitas or Dilfer.

Put differently, Manning and Brady manage to win even if they have bad defenses. We don't know if R Dub can do that, although obviously this is not R Dub's fault.

I think they were, Mike did a great job yr 1 but this yr he seemed to lose his touch.

7 int in two games doesn't mean you outplayed Wilson. Luck has looked the greatest. He has also looked the worst. Wilson is the most consistent. That is why Wilson is better at this point in their careers.
