Doesnt look like Shanahan will catch any heat from the league.

Wait, I thought the owner that's not happy is John Mara. I mean he's gotta be really unhappy with his team not making the playoffs...
so we'll design our offense for those 3 guys. gabbert will take the snaps, with vick and tebow in the backfield behind him
That would be epic in madden.

Just hoping he can get back to near 100%, and we don't rush him back. If he's not ready to go at the start of next season, so be it.

Watching Kaepernick and Wilson do their thing, RG3 at 100% could have done it better.

It's not the risk of injury on the field that's a concern anymore, I really think RG3's learned how to avoid that. It's a coaching staff that needs to realize RG3's speed needs to be protected by not playing him when he's injured anymore.

Worse case scenario, RG3 can still play the quarterback position with enormous skill like he always has but he'll just be a mobile QB....but won't be able to take off for 80 yard TD runs anymore.

Best case scenario, RG3 can rehab as hard as he can to be back to his old self in time for the start of the 2013 season.

I'm sure as a pro athlete, he has to "rehab hard" to get into football shape when his knee heals. I just hope we can get him back as close to 100% as possible, even if it means sacrificing part of next season.

His ability to make defenders look like they're standing still, with the read option and avoiding sacks/runningforit, is priceless. Especially since pass pro isn't our OL's strength. His speed is what we need to preserve.

Although Gronkowski had his forearm heavily wrapped, Patriots coach Bill Belichick said he did not regret allowing the star tight end to play.

"The doctors handle medical decisions," Belichick told reporters after the game.

Why isn't Belichick catching heat for playing Gronk after his injury, only to have him re-injure his arm?? Sounds like the coach was risking his player's health to win a playoff game, and Gronk had the injury to the same place & requiring a second surgery. Belichick should be investigated by the league... Let's call it arm-gate.

It's already been reported that RG3 is anxious to get his rehab underway. His knee will be in a weakened state for 7-10 weeks before he's able to do anything.

Because 3 months from now his arm will be fully healed with no long term consequences.

That and the fact they didn't spend 2 first rounders and a second on him.

And he is not a franchise quarterback or potential franchise quarterback.
