Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Heard a rumor that after a 2-week delay we'll be getting the Week 6 Off-Season Rumors and Reports thread tomorrow, what we have to give up for it is not yet clear. Stay tuned ;)
Not really, but they are a convenient place for news from all over and they DO always provide a link to their sources...instead of using "unnamed sources" like PFT.
Please don't tell us you're defending PFT. :laughing2 They've earned their reputation.
They're more alike than you think (not even counting the fact, as tryfuhl, pointed out that they have the same parent company). They both provide links and cite anonymous sources. And they both add their own two cents (such as rotoworld suggesting the Titans offering a 3rd for AH would work). More often than not, the same people are writing for both sites. |

This time of year is voluntary mod time. I'm getting ready for the regular season on my own. Didn't feel like I was on my game last year so I gotta do things my own way to get ready. |

Are you working with your old admin to get back into form? I think that Matty would really prefer that you were here.. guy shipped out the last supermod for a lowly off-topic subforum mod. I've always had your back man, show up ready and all of this will blow over. |

Yeah, meant to point out that the writers contribute a lot to their sister sites as well. Just mostly aggregated content, some fact based, some speculation. |

Get ready for some scenarios like, we trade for BR, trade him to the Rams, draft Bradford, then trade McNabb for someone's 1st next year, trade AH... *kaboom there goes my head again* |

I think he looks like Jared from Subway after a month at Mickey Ds. JLC is such a tool. I would love one game of one on one with him. Those glasses wouldn't survive it, I guarantee that. |

I've mentioned it in the past but sometimes he'd be there with his FUBU gear, baseball cap cocked sideways or to the back. Phenomenal stuff Seems to have cleaned up a bit |

Seems to have cleaned up a bit
You have got to be kidding me... I think he works hard and had done well with his career but he did it at the expense of the Redskins. Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
and where is this coming from? Its not on PFT or extremeskins, so i'm going to assume lavar is running his mouth and speculating again.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
If it's not on ES, it's definitely not a rumor.
I know everyone likes to bang on PFT, but if you want a true rumor mill, look no further than ES. Everyone over there has a "source". |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Warpath Insider- contract talks at impasse -Gtripp likely day one draft day holdout
also- SmootSmack rumored to be interested in move to TSN.CA |

My biggest fear is that one day ESers learn about this site and invade it in droves. |

Yeah, eventually everyone there WILL be banned and come here looking for a new home. |

No they're pretty happy there, ES seems to attract a certain type of poster. Now if the mods over there decide though to have some sort of purge then you could expect to see the three little guys (Hogs, Hail, and Warpath) to see an influx of members but most fans will find ES first, which is fine by me. From what I can tell though the Warpath is the second largest Skins forum based on the number of viewers I saw on each forum when McNabb was traded. |

Lito Sheppard to the Vikes...

One by one, they strolled through Redskins Park on job interviews these past several weeks, and Thursday night, the top prospects of the 2010 NFL draft finally will find out which will be tabbed as a cornerstone of Mike Shanahan's rebuilding project.
Asked about his prospects of landing in Washington, Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, expected by many to be the draft's No. 1 overall pick, said he thinks "it's a possibility." Actually, it's most likely. Seriously, we have McNabb. McNabb has no o-line. We have very few picks. To do anything but focus on the line would be a crime of Cerratonian proportions. |
