Yeah, had a great rookie season, then just dropped off the roster. UCLA Alum, nasty hitter, good hands, played #48, dreadlocks...um..... |
Re: Skins/Giants post game thread
He never really improved past that "lucky" 3 TO game he had back in 2008 against the Saints. Not part of the current regime so they didn't really feel any obligation to him. He's still tight with a lot of the guys here and think he works out frequently with them. But no one's really knocking down his door. They did take a quick peek at Kareem Moore earlier this year, but he's got knee issues

I agree that Hortons frosh year was lucky and a fluke. Always knew it - even than. He just always sort of happened to be in the vicinity of every errant ball. Almost like if the qb had thrown a good ball he was way out of position. Lol. That all being said - hes younger and jas to be quicker than doo doo? Not even gonna give him a look? That's a shame. Appreciate the update. Redskins, West Ham United, Red Wings and Dodgers. Don't have the energy, time or money for additional *love*. |
Re: Skins/Giants post game thread
it's too bad horton's big game didn't happen in the super bowl, he could have larry browned himself a juicy contract out of it. i remember seeing horton jerseys shortly after that game, i always asked myself "why?"
i think his dreads held his good luck, once he rid himself of them, it was all over. but didn't the giants gave him a look this year? |

redskins and orioles, don't really care too much about other pro teams. caps and wizards by default.
watched a lot of lakers games last season because that's all they show, but it feels gross to root for them. they're one of those mass love/hate teams like the yankees and cowboys. |

Like "hey you lost 21 but here is a 7th round gem". Wasnt he released by the Giants this pre-season? Edit: damn phone im not seeing entire posts for some reason until after inreply? Yes must be gints if u were thinking the same thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

From the article... Williams drew a 15-yard penalty from Bolley on that same drive. Just as the play was stopping, Williams shoved him in the back towards the pile (it’s not just Cortland Finnegan who does this stuff, folks). Williams played to the whistle. Bolley took offense and rushed at William, who poked his finger in the linebacker’s facemask. I think Williams said, ‘Don’t be silly, little man.’ Regardless, Bolley took a swing at Williams and drew the flag. Trent is bada$$ |
When you say our schemes are complex, are you referring to the Offense, Defense or both? Do all the players seem to be able to follow the schemes? Or, in your opinion, is the complexity leading to breakdowns? How often? I am assuming this would be the "bad" part.
I, too, appreciated SS33's and your analysis. I just never had the time to really sit down and break down tape.
It's both sides of the ball, and obviously not every team is like that. The redskins have weeded out pretty much anyone who can't handle the offensive or defensive complexity. Overall, the teams biggest issues are a lack of speed and too many known weaknesses to scheme around. A team can survive playing Tyler polumbus, or niles Paul, or madieu Williams, or rob Jackson, or deangelo hall, but certainly not all 5. I still love watching London fletcher play but he's not a top defensive player anymore. |
...as is Trent.
Blatantly false and trashy comment, in support of a chippy and trashy Midget team. Enjoy your recent superbowls, with your now well deserved reputation as a trashy team with a cheating owner. Glad that Trent Williams never stooped to the Giants' level.
