Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
Bill Muir promoted from KC offensive line coach to offensive coordinator, a more traditional promotion
Castillo hasn't coached a defense since 1989 when he was coaching high school ball?
Wow. This better work out otherwise Reid is gonna face some serious heat.
Reid's on the warm seat, can't imagine he did this to improve his standings though. |

It's the Eagles. On paper the move looks like a huge failure but somehow it'll work out for them, until the playoffs at least.
Reid's on the warm seat, can't imagine he did this to improve his standings though.
Lol, warmseat. |
Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
Reid has an uncanny knack of getting the unbelievable to work nicely for him, so who knows what will happen with this?
I never feel sorry for the Eagles, but thought McDermmit was a scapegoat...the Eagles have serious talent and depth issues in every facet of their D.
Yet they held our O in check. That 2nd game we came back w/a couple big plays though. The iggles always position themselves well in the draft & get some good depth, but last year was a change w/them moving up for Graham. Maybe we're into a new era in which they fall off some. When you look at that team's personnel they are more in a state of flux than it appears at first. Their QB situation isn't settled at all IMO, as Vick will not stay healthy a whole season. Their D is not up to their standards & I can't think of any player on that unit that is an on field leader like Dawkins was. |

This would be stunning if true. Would S. Payton walk away from a SB contender in the Saints? I just find it hard to believe. |

Not a chance. Why would he throw his current success away and probably take a pay cut? He's a winning head coach now. To go to a mess of a team with a meddling owner? He'd have to be like a John Calipari or Brian Kelly-type personality who is always looking for the next big challenge, never comfortable even when succeeding. Sounds like a Mike Florio dream. |

Looks like SSs dream of smith in wsh won't happen, thank god
My dream? Anyhow, not sure I'd read too much into this quite yet. Smart of Harbaugh to speak in a positive light of Smith, because he wants a veteran QB and with no CBA he really can't get another for now. So whether he wants to be or not, he may be "stuck" with Smith for a little while |
