I'm not sure about injury, but I think teams have waited on him because he is going to become an unrestricted free agent. I don't know the details, but it is advantageous for teams to wait until this happens than trying to get him now.

Sounds to me like this is a depth move. No way a back up from the Rams could be their answer to LT.

Barron is a back up? Didn't realize that, I recall him being a high pick, 1st or 2nd round. He's pretty young too isn't he?
