I'll say it again: Big ben to the Raiders, Oakland 2nd pick to Washington, and JC to the Steelers. All would be happy!

I don't think JC's value is equal or even similar to Big Ben's, in Steelers' eyes (or anybody else's) |

1. Redskins also signed former Broncos RB Ryan Torain, and WR Marques Hagans and Roydell Williams. we are far from done shaping this roster... |

Wait until draft picks and post-draft pickups come to town. Can you say, "roster turnover," Mr. Rogers? |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
I don't think a lot of trades are going to be taking place to for us during the draft.
If there are, they will be poorly leveraged ones for 3rd day picks. I'm not seeing us being, or allowed to be, too active before or during this year's first two days. Chalk me down for, Okung and we're done. |

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Saints LT Jammal Brown is on the trading block.
The catch is that Brown hasn't signed his restricted free agent tender, and must do so in order to be moved. He might also demand a multi-year extension from any team looking to acquire him. If Brown was dealt, the Saints could move forward with Jermon Bushrod and Zach Strief competing on Drew Brees' blind side. Free agent Flozell Adams is another option. |

Redskins' schedule to be released at 7 p.m.

Yep, def watching the schedule show, not that the ordering really matters much right now, but it's just one of those things.

That is there habit. I know it is harder to beat Indy in September than December, for the past 8 or so years. |

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
honestly, if McNabb is the one encouraging the skins to get TO, ive got no problem with it. he was pretty much a model citizen last year in buffalo. at this point, hes older, recognizes his skills are diminishing, that no one in the league really wants him, and knows his next contract will be his last. if we brought in TO at this point, i think we'd get the best performance possible out of him with minimal distractions. I'd still make Devin Thomas the #1, TO the #2, and i'd consider trading either Kelly or Moss if we could get anything for them (likely in a package for another player). In that scenario, Moss or Kelly would be the slot WR. I'd be very happy with a WR corp that hadThomas, TO, and Kelly/Moss as our top 3.

I really do not understand all of the Marko Mitchell love. He has a bigger following than Pineapple Jes15 (I fell off that wagon) and has done half as much.

T.O.'s history cannot be refuted but I think he is a different guy now. I think he knows his window is closing and he would need a ring to cement himself with the greats. Although I like the guys that were signed the other day, I think that T.O. makes the team better. He would still command a double team at times and at the very least he would occupy the number one corner and free up other receivers. I don't know how signing T.O. hinders Kelly and Thomas. T.O. is a legitimate HOF candidate. I think he could teach our young receivers a ton. T.O. has a lot of faults but his commitment to training and conditioning cannot be questioned. He still has something left in the tank, IMO. |

remember Anthony Mix? Mix did have some good ST stops though I don't think that we've seen enough of Mitchell to know, but just like the backup QB, people buy into potential.. if anything, last year taught us that we didn't exactly see an efficient use of our offense last year |

Hey, Mitchell caught passes in actual regular season games - and looked good doing it, so I don't see he has done half as much. |

i wasnt giving mitchell love. i was merely pointing out williams' insignifigance. i could have said, "someone needs to clean the toilets, don't they?" that said, mitchell's done 10 times more than "pineapple jes15" at this point in his career. Mitchell has a shot to make the final roster. Brennan doesn't. |

You know what? You're right. I got it backwards. Brunell can still sign but probably not until August sometime. |
