Sorry for not clarifying my statement. I cant understand the Rams letting him go. Makes no sense. The guy has not had enough of a chance.

I like this trade. This is a good move for us. Not much risk and we may be able to grab another 5th for Rocky.

i know it may not be a smart move, but I would not be surprised. A 5th is about the going rate these days for middle of the road talent.

^ wow .... I was kinda considering him an exception. He was moved because of his off the field issues. So his value would have been much higher if he wasn't going to be suspended and didn't have an endless amount off field issues.

Will we gained a player (Carriker) that for atleast 2 weeks prior to the trade the majoirity of the guys here were all about landing him, now we do there is something wrong with him. We just got an extra man and now we can trade some guys in a package deal or not its a good deal. Maybe we aren't used to be on this end of the deal.

Nope. Everyone is still in cerratoshock. I looked it up on webmd. It's a pretty serious nagging syndrome to shake and recover from. People are used to getting Carriker-esque players only when we trade away a 2nd and 3rd this year, and a conditional 6th next year.
