Sean Taylor is a true Redskins...he has done nothing but sacrifice his body and well-being for this team over these last years...there is not a man on this board who can truly call himself a man....who would not do everything that they can to prtect their family and their home....he went to his backdoor to check on a noise and he was unfortunately he was shot....he did exactly what I would have done....attempt to make sure my family was ok...if he was a "thug" like SOME in the media have tried to paint him to be...he would have shot the intruder....however Sean merely tried to make sure his family was fine...doesn't matter if this was retribution, crazed fan, or random violence...a young man...24 years old was shot....He has become the unassuming face of the franchise particularly since LaVar has left....aside from everything else....we need to send our thoughts and prayers to Sean, his daughter, and his loved ones....

My understanding is that sometimes the patient is induced into a coma in situations like this

Yeah, from what I know about stuff like this (which is not a whole lot) leads me to believe that the coma is the ancillary result of the bigger problem. In other words, the fact that he's in the coma doesn't change his situation.

The bottom line is he's dealing with a lot of blood loss. The coma, whether or not he's in one, doesn't tell us much at this point, IMO. We're still just waiting.

Thank you 'Bseven, we [B][U][I]ALL[/I][/U][/B] should send Cowturd a little 'sumpn 'sumpn. Another radio "personality" here in the ATL by the name of Neal Boortz opened his yap last spring after the shooting tragedy at VA tech and said some incredibly insensitive things about the students and all hell broke loose here and elsewhere. Listeners contacted sponsors of the radio show and took issue with his comments in an effort to shut him the hell up. I'm not sure how successful they were ultimately, but anyone speaking so callously should be held accountable. I don't want to focus on someone as irrelevant as Cowturd as our thoughts should be with ST and his family, but rest assured I won't forget Cowturd for his negative comments or what a complete idiot he is.
