Re: Food Vices
I had a great air fryer, all it did was air fry. Nice compact basket cooking area.
Then we got this expensive big "do everything" counter top oven thing and its great for bacon or little oven projects but the air fryer isnt the same. Did wings Sunday and they didnt have that same fry feel like my old smaller .. screwed up on my sauce as well ... --- Instant pot pressure cooker - thats a fun fucking cooking toy |
Re: Food Vices
If I'm ever rich and have a large kitchen, I want one of these large restaurant style griddles.

Lots of things are too good to be true. Air fryers live up to the hype (haven't tried making my own wings). Got one a few months back. Had to move some stuff around, but it was worth it. I even bake chicken breasts in the standard oven, then throw it in the air fryer to crisp the outside up for some texture. |
Re: Food Vices

Nice. Thanks! I assume it would be better for more crunchy vegetables like asparagus and green beans then it would be for something like spinach. I'll have to give it a shot this weekend. Supposed to get here Friday. |

That BK Have It Your Way song hits. But at least in my adult life, which is going on 22 years now, I've had BK less than 10 times. Maybe even less than 5. And 0 times since I heard it. But whoever wrote that jingle had to have made a good chunk of change.
All that to ask, what is your favorite fast food restaurant? Breakfast = McDonald's Lunch/Dinner = Jack in the Box. Although Arby's is making a strong play to become No. 1. Their food is good and how can you not love James Earl Jones. |
Re: Food Vices
Raising Cane opened by me, waited in line for 40 minutes.
Ok taste like chicken fingers and the secret sauce is ketchup and mayo with a bunch of pepper , nothing special |

Grape diet soda is legit. Had that all the time when I was a kid. Haven't had it for a long time though. I'll have to remember to see if my new grocery store carries it next time I go. |

Re: Food Vices
Still never had a diet soda that tasted good to me. Even Coke Zero tastes off.
I usually have some ginger ale or Dr. Pepper in the fridge if I want something sweet, I like the 7.5 oz cans otherwise I just end up wasting it. Mostly though it's just black coffee, seltzer, mineral water, maybe some iced tea on occasion. |

The flavored ones are extremely good. I can't buy those. Those will get smashed hard. It's a struggle just with the plain ones. She's right unfortunately, a handful super healthy, a container full, not so much lol. It's really not fair. If it's healthy, the more you eat, the more beneficial it should be. |
