Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Round 1
We got ONE Linemen, Hope everyone is happy.
Safe Pick and one we needed... Can't believe some people are giving this an F or a D or a C... WHY |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Round 1
The scouts didn't do their homework on this guy. That's the last thing we need is an undisciplined thug making 4th overall pick money. We need to trade back into the first and draft Okung!

What did Okung do wrong?
One analysts that I listen to, believes that he got away with certain deficiencies because of his athleticism. It seems also that Williams will fit better our scheme. I'm happy to have a top tackle and not betting the farm on a QB. |

When do I turn the draft back on? Sunday?

Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Round 1
Seatlle will take Okung with the hope that he's the next Walter Jones.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Round 1
Not a bad pick, but Okung is much more physically strong and would've been a better pick IMO. But Williams should be solid, maybe a bit more upside than Okung in speed, mobility.

The Who once sang, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss". Don't think they were talking about the Redskins.

What did Okung do wrong?
Kiper said that Williams may be the most versatile of any of the 1st round picks: Through the workout process, both at the combine and individually with teams, he's proved himself to be perhaps the most versatile talent in the draft at any position. You're talking about a guy NFL teams believe could play virtually anywhere on the offensive line. That many believe he can develop into a solid NFL left tackle is cause for his continued rise. |

How in the world would we ever trade back in and get Okung??????? |

Jesus, some people act like we just drafted a f'ing kicker. Have some f'ing football intelligence and stop bitching for the sake of bitching. Ugh.
