If you were stupid enough to trade Haskins for a 5th round pick, you should have thought about it at least twice, and maybe 3 or 4 times.

Ehhh that not really the point of the post. Burrow is heads and tails a better passer who made NFL reads in a more NFL-like passing scheme.

The reason I chose 5 was that was the closes number to my finger when typing...was an afterthought of the post.

You could put chase young on the 49ers D and the chiefs would still have won ... QB play wins championships.. give me Brady,Rogers,Brees in there prime and I will give you whoever you want rushing them .. you can scheme around a pass rush ..
Guess we don't agree on everything. Will be interesting to see their careers play out. Just do the right thing Cincinnati.
I think i agree with you i'm rolling with DH. Burrows will be good but i think DH's intelligence will win in the end.

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?

We are committed to Haskins. His last two games were amazing for a rookie with just 6-7 games experience, a creaky OL, no TE worth a wooden nickle, 3 rookie WR. The offense, especially the OL was undisciplined and committed A LOT of penalties. The offense was wedded to a archaic running system that mostly failed and with the many penalties both which often forced him into “third and long” situations. His second to last game he had a 120 QB rating. In his last game he had a 141 rating before he was hurt.

He played hurt without complaint which showed his toughness. He can run more than was thought when we drafted him and he isn’t afraid to take a hit to get a first down. I think with the MANY new improvements such as in the OL, adding some quality TEs, a better Offensive Coordinator, this offense will help Haskins in many ways. Will he still make rookie mistakes? Sure, but he will get better. Then we’ll see how high he can go.

I remember at the beginning of the season there were many proponents for a “sit out the season or more”. After a few tough games many said he was a TOTAL BUST. Some still advocate getting Tua or somebody else and trading Haskins. Take Burrows if the Bengals draft Chase Young. They forget that Haskins BEAT Burrows at Ohio. So the doubters continue.

When you use a high first round draft pick for a Qb you have to give him some time to prove whether he is a franchise QB or a bust. Otherwise you are just spinning your wheels. When was the last time the Redskins had a franchise QB from the draft?
Cousins - who we let go. Before him the draft failures of RG3, Campbell and Shuler, who were busts. Let’s hope Haskins is our next franchise QB and has the high end that the team thought when they drafted him. We saw glimpses of it in this last season.

Just read online, an inside source came out on Twitter saying:

Bears may be looking to trade Khalil Mack, possibly a 2nd (or two) and possibly one (or two) future firsts to the redskins for the #2 pick ...

If they came at us with an offer around that, what would you do?

I'd draft Chase Young with a smile on my face.

Khalil Mack is 28 an obviously elite LB. But there has to be a first rounder and their second rounder for this season also in the deal.

I don't see why they would do that, if they offered Mack and their 1st we would be crazy to pass that up.. He's an All Pro in his prime, Young has great potential but Mack is proven.

"The Bears would incur $45m+ in dead cap if they traded Khalil Mack and would actually LOSE roughly $19m in cap space by doing this." Barstool Sports

This is not happening.

The Bears don't have a 1st in this draft.

Another hypothetical trade to keep people interested in the NFL until the draft. In other words, something that will never happen.

New mock up by Daniel J and Bucky Brooks. Bucky explains why he thinks they will draft Chase at 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoanMXj9fXo

It's a good explanation in football sense vs just watching highlights of random guys and making Madden like trades lol.

What is the name Bucky short for? And why would he agreed to be called that? He should do a YouTube series just on that
