All the self-promotion for one thing. Just my opinion, though. :) |

well... he put the organization in a bind last year essentially demanding he be started. he's done nothing but take shots at shanahan since he was fired. he's still taking shots. off the field he's a raging douche at this point. the fact that he has so much influence over the organization is deeply concerning to me right now. i hope 2012 was just a small sample of what he's capable of on the field, because off the field isn't looking so great right now. oh and remember how last year he was like 'I don't need preseason'? Someone obviously talked to him, he did a 180 the day after. But for a split second we got a clear view of what his mentality actually is. |
Re: All things offseason discussion part II
his "operation patience" t shirt was unnecessary. thats the only thing imo and I am a big shanny fan.
there is a thin line between being confident and cocky. RG3 has def stayed on the side of confident. Manziel has def stayed on the side of cocky. both are necessary for glory positions like QB or WR or CB. but please - lets not turn this into a RG3 and manziel comparison thread. RG3 is nothing like manziel. |
People sure have an interesting view on the word douche. I guess pretty much every athlete qualifies.

Re: All things offseason discussion part II
I think a lot of the negative things attributed to RG3 were overblown or from his people/family. I also think some of it was straight lying from the Shanahans.

What did they say about him because I have never heard them utter one bad word about Bob . |

Only a douche would say that. j/k :) |

Self promotion is good though. Self promotion means more endorsements, which means more money, which hopefully means a more cap friendly contract after his rookie deal expires.
Jersey Shore - the next generation, lol!
That show would contend with Duck Dynasty, any TruTV show, Paris Hiltons My New BFF, and A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila for worst show of all time. Oh and the week of Sportscenter right after the Tebow led Bronco's beat the Steelers in the playoffs. |

Not every athlete. But in my opinion a lot of them do qualify. Maybe I'm just getting older and more crotchety, who knows. Guys like London, Santana, Kerrigan, Rak, Morris, etc. who just put on their hats and go to work are the type of players teams need to succeed. Yes, certain positions require some confidence, even cockiness, but some players take it over the line. Griffin, for me, has not taken it too far yet, but some of the things I hear from him and see him doing are a bit eyebrow raising. I'm definitely not as down on him as tshile is, but compared to a guy like Alf... Again, just my opinion. |

How is he a raging douche off the field? He does not have control of the organization, but we traded away alot to draft him and he plays the qb position. He is basically the centerpiece of everything we want to do going forward. Of-course we are going to cater to that. We would be foolish not to. |
