So what's your excuse for the preseason and the 1st game of the season, 4 possessions, 2 turnovers?
i know you're trying to make a point, but that fumble would have happened to anyone, ramsey got a piledriver straight into the ground and had to come off the field due to it. At the time a lot of people were expecting a flagrant foul to cancel the fumble. Either way, in that one speicifc instance it wasn't sloppy ball handling that caused that fumble, and at least 90% of QBs would also lose it.
Brunell lost 6 fumbles in 2005. Your boy Ramsey lost 3 fumbles in 2004, and he only played half a season. Meaning their fumble rates are equal. But Ramsey throws way more interceptions than Brunell.

Brunell is way better at managing a game. And if you don't like that, then you don't like winning.
Cause Brunell plays not to lose..... instead of playing to win....see but as the stakes got higher and teams got better that was no longer Good enough.......I bet Mr Saunders changes that!!!!! We'll see but I wouldn't count Ramsey out just yet....

Brunell plays not to lose?? Explain 10 wins, and furthermore Brunell doesn't call his own plays. So how is he alone responsible for "playing not lose"?

I would count Ramsey out. Why? Because Gibbs informed Brunell, and Campbell of the Saunders hiring, and NOT future hall of famer Ramsey.

Ramsey is done here. Just deal with it and move on.

Re: Will Saunders Affect Our QB Situation?
Let's look at the 2005 Pro Bowl roster and compare the QBs that were named for the NFC.

Matt Hasselbeck: 3459 yards, 24 TDs, 9 INT. 98.2 rating, led his team to 13 wins. Highest rated passer in the NFC.

Jake Delhomme: 3421 yards, 24 TDs, 16 INT. 88.1 rating, led his team to 11 wins. 4th rated passer in the NFC.

Michael Vick: 2412 yards, 15 TDs, 13 INT. 73.1 rating, led his team to 8 wins. 12th rated passer in the NFC.

And now Brunell: 3050 yards, 23 TDs, 10 INT. 85.9 rating, led his team to 10 wins. 5th rated passer in the NFC.

Now draw your own conclusions. I don't see how Brunell isn't at least in the discussion when you talk about who had Pro Bowl caliber seasons in the NFC.
Pro Bowl not quite. Brunell was 5th. Who was #2 and #3?

You have to disregard Vick. A popular choice, but he sure stunk up my Fantasy team all year!

You're assuming ........when it happens then i might...... I'm more than sure saunders knows that Brunell cant execute the offense the way he expects.... so we'll see .... hell he could barely execute this anemic offense we have now.......

Damn, you are one hating machine. And if Saunders goes with Brunell? Well, then he's just a Gibbs lackey, part of the conspiracy or another coach with impeccable credentials who doesn't know half as much as you.

i am not a hater ....in anyway ... I went to 3 games paid well over $1000 for 3 games this year....... but i just never got over patrick not getting his chance... Look I didn't want even gonna get into this but when i started read how everybody was downing patrick i felt i wanted my say.....if u read my pre seattle posts i refused to post anything negative against Brunell i wished him well.....As long as people say he's dumb and have their negative opinions on Ramsey I will be here defending him...... Cause he was here before Marky Mark...... suffered and deserved the chance...i dont abandon the guys that have been here during the hard times... to me thats a fan!!!!!!!!

Funny you mentioned that Game ....he was horrible for 56 mins of that Game he looked like the worst and the oldest Qb in the NFL...then 2 passes he became god...they were great passes but .....was it really just an overrated Cowboys Safety that was at fault or Brunell's brilliance ..ask yoursself that? But the true brunell showed up when it counted ...AT THE END OF THE SEASON!!!! And Does anyone doubt the redskins are just as good probably better than the Seahawks ...I know the Redskins are better..... I didnt see him come close to duplicating those plays the rest of the season........

Wait, so thinking that Ramsey isn't going to be a successful NFL QB because he was here first means you're not a fan? I'm not following that bit of logic..

That fumble was under duress, no doubt.. Lest we forget the other fumble where he held the ball forever and was sacked and fumbled and Jansen recovered. The guy is a human turnover machine..
